 Astonia Overview
Astonia is a free 2D Fantasy MMORPG. Players can explore the world as Mages or Warriors. As they advance in the world of Astonia, they can either become Archmages or Archwarriors, or join the Guard of Astonia’s late Emperor Ishtar as one of the powerful Seyan’Du.
Astonia offers a sophisticated clan system, many professions, and a large amount of quests and game areas. Players can also join the Imperial Army and gain rank and reputation.
The new Astonia world “Urd” is free to play, with optional premium accounts. Urd features a new clan system, a new item system as well as a re-balancing of all character classes.
Intent Software also operates the Astonia “Hel” server, which has been running since 2002.

Intent Software’s free MMORPG Astonia goes live
Hamburg, September 19, 2007. Intent Software officially launches the new Astonia® world named Urd. During the one month beta test Astonia attracted 10.000 registered players. Astonia is free to play. Players can upgrade to paid premium accounts, which offer even more game features.
The game world formerly known as Astonia 3 will now be known as the “Hel” server. Urd and Hel are names from ancient Norse mythology.
