Today Guild Wars 2 celebrates its third anniversary, and to commemorate the occasion ArenaNet is giving fans a surprise gift – the launch date for the highly anticipated expansion, Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns. ArenaNet confirmed today that Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns will launch on October 23, 2015.
ArenaNet is hosting a fan and press conference tomorrow at PAX Prime where studio co-founder and president Mike O’Brien and game director Colin Johanson will deliver news and details that set the stage for the future of Guild Wars 2 and its expansion. Guild Wars 2 fans are eager to see what the studio has billed as an unveiling of all-new challenging group content coming to Heart of Thorns. MMO players everywhere will want to know new information the studio is revealing about its roadmap for the core game.
ArenaNet is expecting hundreds of fans to attend the conference, scheduled to start at 10:30 a.m. PDT tomorrow, August 29, in the PAX Prime Hydra Theatre at the Grand Hyatt in Seattle.
