The War Z Troubles Continue
More trouble has come Hammerpoint’s way as news surfaces that the trademark for The War Z name has been suspended due to it being too similar to upcoming movie World War Z. To make matters worse the game’s creator Sergey Titov claims that the trademark hasn’t been suspended and that he is in communications with the lawyer who helped them file it originally.
World of Tanks Launches in Korea
Today it was announced that Wargaming’s free to play tank MMO is now available in the Korean market. The full Korean website has launched and includes an events list for upcoming activities around New Years and a beginners guide cartoon for those just starting out.
Zynga Japan Shuts Down
On January 31, 2013 Zynga Japan will shut it’s doors for the final time. The office has been on the chopping block since the beginning of November when founder Mark Pincus said it may close. The closure was confirmed last week via Facebook. Zynga Japan has already shut down three of it’s largest titles; Montopia, Mojitomo, and Machitsuku. The last title remaining is Ayakashi which will remain open after the company closes.
Final Fantasy XI Expansion Coming
Final Fantasy XI has announced via twitter that a new expansion is due to launch March 26th in the US and March 27th in the EU. The fifth expansion, titled Seekers of Adoulin already has a website and a trailer which you can check out for yourself below.
