M.A.T Online Preview: Oh look, another CS 1.6 clone… or is it?

REVIEW

Suba Games is bringing a new free-to-play FPS title to its line-up, and while it looks like your typical war based shooter, it manages to bring a few things that you would never expect in an FPS title at all.  The game is called "Mission Against Terror" (M.A.T Online). I took the time to try this game out during its closed beta phase to see if this new game had anything going for it.

Dragon Fable Review: First Impressions

REVIEW

When one comes across a browser game he expects a game with crap graphics, poor game play and horrible community. He or she usually assume that the game will be full with children who think downloading will give them viruses and blow up their computer. Dragon Fable is an animated fantasy RPG that can be extremely addictive.  Although Dragon Fable is F2P (free to play) it has an exclusive "members" option.  This is called the Dragon Amulet upgrade which unlocks exclusive areas and powerful items. Dragon Fable is constantly updated and is totally worth your time especially since you won't spend anytime downloading it!

Canaan Online Review: Too Cute to Be True

REVIEW

Canaan Online is a flash based MMORPG that is just too cute to be true. The game reeks of cuteness from the get-go. I think it's safe to assume a lot of hardcore online gamers would be immediately turned off with the cuteness level.

Ministry of War Preview: Civilization’s Browser Brother

REVIEW

Ministry of War is a strategy browser based MMORTS game from Snail Games USA. The game plays upon the concept of civilization supremacy in an MMO setting. You are given the choice to represent one of the four factions found in the game in a race for supremacy and a chance to earn the title champion.

Aurora Blade Review: Labels R’ Us

REVIEW

I've had a love-hate relationship with browser games lately. There were times that I simply got tired from clicking through text box after text box just to do one move. My utter disdain for browser based online games has somewhat toned down in a recent review when I got to experience a true MMORPG browser based game.

So I had my hopes up that Aurora Blade would completely dispel that lingering bitter aftertaste I experienced in browser based online games however I was wrong.

GreedInc Review: All About the Greens

REVIEW

GreedInc is an MMO web browser game that revolves around the modern crime scene. Crime based games seem to be at their peak now, seeing that titles like Grand Theft Auto are selling like warm cookies. Going on a crime-spree has never been this fun (browser-wise, that is). The game is also pretty profane; then again, it's this type of profanity that makes crime-based games realistic. You'll probably know what I mean once you log into the game. GreedInc serves as the big bad break for players who are sick of playing as the typical hero in various MMO games. Regardless of its profanity and mature theme, nothing beats heading over to the bad side of town. It's like a pimped up version of Dope Wars if you ask me. The system is just incredible, with a whole lot of variety regarding places to visit, in game activities, and things to do.

Final Fantasy XIII Review Best Hair 2010

REVIEW

After waiting what felt like an eternity, Final Fantasy XIII made its debut in Europe earlier this year and I was waiting with gleeful anticipation at the store doors early morning on day one. Having already done research prior it was made clear that the public viewed that the PS3 version was graphically superior to the Xbox 360's, I followed that advice and was not disappointed.

Destiny Online Review: Who Says Playing Won’t Pay?

REVIEW

Destiny Online is your typical F2P MMORPG with a flimsy storyline and a myriad of game features that aren't innovative in the MMORPG scene. These features are definite necessities for providing a mix of entertaining game play and an interesting online game which Destiny Online brings in spades.

Zentia Tour: Have Fire Monkey, Will Travel

REVIEW

In a word, this game is cute. In several words, because "cute" doesn't quite tell you what you need to know about anything, Zentia is a quick, easy and visually pleasing distraction.

Neocron 2 Review- Morpheus Could Be Wrong About The Future

REVIEW

When it comes to MMORPGs, nothing makes everything less linear than a fresh non-medieval setting away from dungeons and (woot) kobolds. If you're tired of swashbuckling inside the king's courtyard, then perhaps this game can keep you company with its futuristic appeal. Neocron 2 is a post-apocalyptic MMORPG that takes over its previous installment, taking players into a dark delinquent future where danger lurks at every corner. Here players will behold an almost red-light-district world, similar to the cyberpunk future brought by the Fallout series with a mix of Samurai Jack (yes, the cartoon) and Duke Nukem 3D. I really don't know why MMOs don't respect the possibilities of us having a bright future, but it does seem cooler that way. The game has been getting some mixed reviews so far, and I just had to see it for myself.

Pentacore Review: Complex and Boring

REVIEW

Pentacore is an MMO web browser game that takes players into the world of spells and magic. The game mixes elements from RPGs, tactics games, and social simulators. Players take the role of their own sorcerer in his/her own castle. The first thing players will probably notice is the game's awesome 3d graphics which are rare for most browser games. The object of the game is to build an army & create spells to best your opponents. Other than the extremely good graphics, the game doesn't offer anything new. To be honest, it was actually boring at some points, with an excruciatingly long waiting time (when upgrading and /or building structures and units). Although the graphics were enough to lure me into playing this game, I found myself "facepalming" fifteen minutes later. Were there any other redeeming qualities? Let's check it out shall we?
