Star Trek Online Review: Space is the Final Frontier

REVIEW

Ever since I first watched my first Star Trek series (ST: Next Generation) I've always had the desire to have the chance to become part of Starfleet. In fact, that desire was rekindled by the recent Star Trek movie that was released in 2009.

Guilds Wars 2: My Most Anticipated MMORPG

REVIEW

From the second ArenaNet announced Guild Wars 2, I've been hyped for it.  The reason is quite simple; ArenaNet is one of the best game developers around.  What makes them one of the best is that the company thinks outside of the box.  They don't follow trends or copy others; they go their own way, and create a fresh game play experience for all to enjoy.  That's not the only reason I'm looking forward to Guild Wars 2 though.  Read on and see why I can't wait to get my hands on this gem.

Pox Nora Review: Successful Hybrid Game

REVIEW

Pox Nora is a hybrid MMO game that mixes the elements of strategy games, level up MMOs, and surprisingly, trading card games and miniature gaming. It's a very weird combination for a video game if you to ask me, at least until I played the game. Mac user? No problem! Yes, Pox Nora can be played on both the PC and Mac. If you still have problems running the client, you can always play the game through your web browser. The game is turn based, much like the old Magic: The Gathering game for the PlayStation 1, where players must summon mythical creatures and powerful spells called runes in order to best their opponents in battle.

Holybeast Review: Unleash The Beast!

REVIEW

First, let me tell you the basics. This game uses the point-and-click method of movement and there is no WASD movement. You start off choosing an animal race, which include Bird, Monkey, Dog, Buffalo, Tiger and Dragon. Each race offers different strengths and available classes. For example, Dragon excels in magic and can be one of the three mage classes while a Dog can only be one.  Combat is your basic target and use skills deal but leveling is more quest-based than most free-to-play games.

Walking the Line. City Of Heroes: Going Rogue Review

REVIEW

There is a place in the MMO world, a place of good people. They are heroes in this place and each day they fight for all that is good and honest and right. Balancing this shining beacon is a place of darkness and ego. Power makes right there, and strength and brutality rule.

PANGYA Review: Taking the Game of Golf to a Whole New Level!

REVIEW

I have to admit that I was not enthusiastic at first to review Pangya, the game revolved around golf. I never took interest in the sport. To be honest I always watched it in order to help me get to sleep (when the Nyquil was not kicking in), or just to see Tiger Woods outshine the other players. Pangya suddenly opened up a completely new world and reintroduced me to the game of golf with open arms, quirky anime characters, and tons of fun gameplay!

The New Face of Monato Esprit – Review

REVIEW

In July of 2009, Reality Gap launched their fantasy based MMO, Monato Esprit. Since then, the game has grown slowly and garnered varied criticism for generic game play, a predictable premise and, most notably, a completely player-driven economy heavily reliant on currency purchased with actual money. It has a low population and a poor reputation, but it is possible that much of the negative reaction is undeserved, especially in light of recent developments in Reality Gap's business model.
