The Church in the Darkness Confirms August Release

Not only is The Church in the Darkness coming out on August 2nd, 2019, they revealed that in addition to PS4, Xbox One and PC, it’s also on the way to the Nintendo Switch! This cult-infiltration title will have players controlling an ex-cop that is infiltrating a South American compound, Freedom Town. In search of their nephew, they are going to infiltrate this cult and every playthrough will be different to offer a considerable amount of replay value. Is the commune a group of idealists aiming for a socialist utopia, or is there something more sinister at play?

It’s up to the player to sneak into the compound undetected, uncover the truth by finding and chatting with cult members, search cabins to unearth literature about the group, and finally locate Alex, the nephew. The Nintendo Switch and Xbox One releases will have a 20% discount on the pre-order, which will then be available on all other platforms, for a week at launch. This discount is also available for the Standard Edition and True Believer Special Edition.

True Believers will receive the game, the Official Soundtrack and a set of special behind-the-scenes videos about the making of the game. The Standard Edition retails for $19.95 USD and the True Believer Special Edition retails for $29.95 USD.
