GodsWar Online Features– Deity System Preview

For most players, the charm of the game lies on the unique quest system. Deity System is one of the characteristic systems of GodsWar Online (http://gw.igg.com).
Believing in different gods can bring players different ability bonus, as well as GodsWar skills.

Deity System introduction:
In Greece, Zeus, Athena, Apollo and so on are common to worship. In GodsWar Online players can choose one of 14 gods to believe in and there are also corresponding huge temples and statues in various cities.

System Usage:
Players can believe in Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Hades, Apollo, Artemis, Athena, Ares, Demeter, Hestia, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Hermes and Dionysus, obtaining ability bonus and GodsWar skills respectively.
GodsWar skill that can be used through accumulating the power of God is an important system in the game. Although, it possesses different attributes and effects due to different beliefs, there is no doubt that such effects are tremendous and can even reverse the situation of the war.
If players are teamed up, one of them uses the GodsWar skill properly will help all members to obtain extra bonus; this is the chained Deity System of the game.
Certainly, there are still many other systems that the players have never experienced, such as the Combo System, intense PK clan systems and so on. Players will be deeply impressed by the abundant content of the game.

Fiesta Online Interview

Questions by Brian Perry Jr.
Answered by GM Funtrix from Fiesta Online

Onrpg: What makes Fiesta Online stand out from other games?
GM Funtrix: The overall look and style of Fiesta can stand up to any of our direct competitors.  A few of the game features we are most proud of include: the Kingdom Quest system (multiple players questing together), the Mini House feature (A player can sell items and heal HP/SP), various mount selections (allows for faster travel through the environment) and of course, multiple customization options.

Onrpg: Why did your company decide to bring this game to English speaking audiences?
GM Funtrix: Outspark is dedicated to providing exciting, fun games across a wide audience of gamers.  When we first played Fiesta we felt it had great game features, impressive visual appeal and strong developer support/cooperation.  These are just a few of the aspects of Fiesta which Outspark can use to provide a great gaming experience and community for all the casual gamers out there.

Onrpg: How would you describe the way that players progress through the game?
GM Funtrix: In relation to actually leveling and playing the game, players are presented with many options to play through this journey.  Field Hunting, Questing, Kingdom Questing, a Guild System, Party Hunting and Production skills are many of the things a Fiesta player can encounter and interact with to enjoy the game.

Onrpg: What differences are there between the four classes of Fiesta Online?
GM Funtrix: Currently, the guild vs guild system allows for players to battle each other.  In the future we plan to open a free PK zone in which a more traditional PvP system will be available. The biggest difference among the four classes of Fiesta is the play style of each class. Fighters are tough damage takers who stand in the front of battle. Clerics are versatile characters that can help others with various supportive magic spells. Archers have fast attack skills and can attack from great distances. Mages are damage dealers that can use their spells in order to attack big groups of enemies.

Onrpg: Fiesta Online has an interesting crafting system.  Can you explain how it works?
GM Funtrix: We call it a Production Skill system. There are three types of Production Skills; Potion Creating, (Enhancement) Stone Creation, (Buff) Scroll Creation.  A player has to choose two of them at the beginning. To use the production skill, one must learn a production skill by buying a skill scroll from Skill Master NPC. Then, one must collect ingredient items from monsters.  Finally, with the obtained Production Skill and Ingredient items, one can create either a Potion, Stone, or a Scroll.

Onrpg: Will there be any form of PvP in the game?
GM Funtrix: Currently, the guild vs guild system allows for players to battle each other.  In the future we plan to open a free PK zone in which a more traditional PvP system will be available.

Onrpg: Can we expect anything like a raid encounter that requires many players all at or near the level cap?
GM Funtrix: Fiesta has two kinds of raid systems and while they are not necessarily associated with a level cap, they could be found more readily available in the higher level cities/hunting grounds. Boss Monster Spawns on regular hunting fields.  In random hunting grounds Bosses are so strong that players must form a group to defeat them. Kingdom Quest system is one of the team oriented features of this game. It normally requires 15 to 20 players to clear one Kingdom Quest, but the largest one could possibly require up to 200 players in the same Kingdom Quest.

Onrpg: What can we expect to see for sale in the item mall?
GM Funtrix: There are six main categories of items, which will be available in the Fiesta shop. Functional Items are ones that can aid players’ gameplay in various ways.
Consumable Items which temporarily increase a player’s stats. Mounts are pets that players can ride on to move faster. Mini Mons are the small pets which sit on a player’s shoulder and give bonus stat upgrades. Mini Houses increase either players’ HP/SP regeneration speed when resting or increase item slots in your Vendor, your personal item store. Avatar clothing and accessories have both vanity and stat bonus features.

Onrpg: If you have had the chance to play this game, what was your favorite class?
GM Funtrix: As a GM, the Cleric is one of the best classes to use.  It lets a GM help a player with its different array of buffs and spells.  The Archer class may not be as popular of a class amongst players, however when used correctly an Archer can be very valuable to a group.  In addition to the strong skills, Nature’s Wrath and Annihiliating Shot,  the Archer has the ability give debuffs and take away buffs.  Spirit Shot is the perfect skill to use against the classes which use mostly SP as it does damage to the HP meter as well as the SP meter.

Onrpg: When will the game leave beta and launch for everyone to be able to play?
GM Funtrix: Our Second Closed Beta is scheduled to open on July 25th.  Upon completion of the Second Closed Beta, we will announce Fiesta’s open beta date.

DOMO Interview

Questions by Brian Perry Jr
Answered by GameTribe

Onrpg: What is the basic story behind Dream of Mirror Online?
Dream of Mirror tells of a sacred artifact from mythical ancient China. The sacred artifact Kunlun Mirror has the powers to create and destroy the world.
The Kunlun Mirror was originally created to record everything. The world created by Kunlun Mirror reflects the real world; a copy of everything in the real world is saved in the Kunlun Mirror world.
Twelve Mirror Kings are watching and are responsible for the Kunlun Mirror world.
Suddenly the Kunlun Mirror world start losing its proper functioning and is no more able to precisely reflect reality.
Many mirror kings have disappeared as well because of the “disappointment” about human beings in real world. When those “delusions” were reflected in the Kunlun Mirror, they were turned into various odd life forms and interfered with normal operation of the Kunlun Mirror.
To solve the Kunlun Mirror crisis, the mirror kings started to call real world human beings to enter the Kunlun Mirror to reestablish equilibrium.
And here is where our players will start their journey…

Onrpg: How many classes are there for players to choose from, and what does each class specialize in?

The player can choose between 4 races( Human, Sylph, Sprite, Felin), 6 classes (Commoner, Swordsman, Doctor, Shaman, Thief, Mystic)  and 6 professions (meditation, fishing, mining, animal breeding, farming, forestry) to gain experience through amazing quests and missions.
At the beginning the players will start as a Commoner as class. When players reach level 10, they will then be able to go the NPC “Transferred Wisp” to transfer into any of the following classes as Main Talent: swordsman, shaman, thief, mystic or doctor. Here they can also set their sub classes for carrying sub talent, because the system will memorize every classes including the skill that the players have learned before. At the first change only Commoner will be available as sub talent, since the players have not yet learned any other class. If the players decide to change class again, they will be able to do it (as many times as they like) and set up as a subtalent of one their previous learned classes . They will then be able also to transfer back to previous learned class as their main class at anytime.

Onrpg: How important is crafting in Dream of Mirror Online?

Crafting is a basic feature in Domo. It’s one of the key element of this game. Crafting can be done by developing alchemy skills. In order to increase this ability players who are at least at level 7 have to go through a collecting mission and to acquire free trial coupons from the NPC. Collected pieces will then have to go trough refinement process in order to create red powder, the main alchemy ingredients to create solutions. Other ingredients will be obtained by refining items collected through the 6 professions available. Players will just have to collect the “alchemy recipe” for things that could be alchemized, and materials from the instruction on the recipe.

Onrpg:  Will there be any PvP (Player versus Player) in the game?
Yes, it’s possible to fight with others players but not freely. The fights is only possible if the players agree to do that.
Eventual other pvp areas are TBD.

Onrpg: What will there be for higher level players to do (raids, etc.)?
DOMO is a game that lay stress on the enjoyment of experiencing different classes, so if players have been played through a single class, we will suggest them to play other classes; players with higher level can collect high quality material to produce high-class weapons or armors from it.

Onrpg: When can we expect the closed beta to begin, as well as the anticipated launch date?
The closed beta phase will start this summer. Be patient, the players will not have to wait too long to enjoy this game!

Onrpg: What sorts of items will players be able to purchase from the item mall?
Any kind from amulets, to potions, to pets, to clothes, to accessories.

Onrpg: How many different characters will players be able to have per account?
We are still evaluating with developers how many characters will be available for each phase of the game.

Onrpg: What type of character are you looking forward to playing and why?
The most interesting and special character in Domo is the Shaman. The Shaman observes natural ancient Chinese practice of placement and arrangement of space to achieve harmony with the environment, distinguishes the yin and yang of nature and the operations of natural calendars. They can guide different energy flows from the earth and change the regional climates in specific areas. The Shaman can even bring destruction and create negative influence on their targets. They can also enhance their peers’ recovering abilities by using the energy flow from the ground. Besides, the Shaman can convert the Qi of five elements on their peers or monsters to change the odds as well.

Onrpg: Thank you for your time!
