Wonderland Online: Assistant Water Spells Revealed
In Wonderland Online(http://wl.igg.com/), assistant water spells are quite important for players to level up, complete quests and win in group PVP. Players mastering the assistant water spell act like the doctor or nurse in a party. Its recommended that these players concentrate on their CON and WIS points and choose bow to learn the spells at an early stage. After they have fully mastered all the assistant spells with Revival and Recover Normal included, they will complete their learning.
Assistant Water Spells Round-up
Cure Spell: Recover party players HP in a single round. When it reaches the highest level, it can be applied to players in six different parties.
Magic Recovery: Recover party players SP in a single round. When it reaches the highest level, it can be applied to players in three different parties
Freezing Spell: Freeze enemy target in two rounds. When it reaches the highest level, it can be used to freeze two enemy targets at the same time. But there will be a high rate of MISS, if enemy targets are of antagonistic attributes.
Recovery: Recover HP for players in the same party for 3 continuous rounds. When it reaches the highest level, it can be applied to players in two different parties.
Free From Mess: Dispels the mess in their party. It can be only applied to one target.
Sleep: Puts an enemy target to sleep in two rounds. When it reaches the highest level, it can be applied to four targets in an enemy party.
Revival: Revive a player in the same party and recover some of his HP. The revival rate corresponds to the level of this spell. If this spell is at high level, the HP level after being revived will be higher.
Recover Normal: Eliminates abnormal states.
Recommended Pet: Elin (Earth)
After Elin gets her Plasma Gun weapon (ATK+45) and Tim’s Lease (ATK+50,MAXHP+350, exclusively used by a Pet man), she will become very helpful for players mastering assistant water spells with less attack, because she has great attack power and rich HP.

Guild Support Coming Soon to Shadow of Legend
Its been almost a week since we opened up the new GreyRock server and introduced the Leveling-up contest for Shadow of Legend. Just by looking at its Player Rankings, we can see that the level of competition is high. In over the span of one week, we have a good number of players who are on their way to passing the level 30 mark. What a fierce battle the Leveling-up contest has become!
Yet, that is not all. We have something new that well be introducing right after the Leveling-up contest, and that is Guild Support. Im not going to give any details about its official rules, but we can expect grand rewards to yield from this program.
Guilds that meet certain requirements can receive rewards up to 10k in diamonds! We understand how much resources guilds need to grow and expand their influence and reputation over the land of Agnes, which is why these diamonds will come in handy. More power to ya! More details coming up next week.

Lunia Review
Written By By Michael Justice
When I look at all of the arcade games that were created in the past that were meant to be played at an arcade, I think of all the good times I had, gaining high scores and playing with friends. We used to go through quarters and quarters just playing Gauntlet and we always had fun co-operating through the game and helping each other out. Now, think of that, only, remove the quarters, switch the high scores out with experience points, change the joystick into a keyboard, update the graphics A LOT, and replace your friends with the internet.
The end result will get you Lunia. Well, O.K., maybe not an exact result, but its something like that. Lunia is a game where you can relive those action-packed and adventurous good times online, in a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. From the moment you first double-click Lunia Client.exe you will be amazed at how fun this game can be. All the way from the catchy opening song whose lyrics you will probably never forget, to walking around the main square, talking with friends. Its a game which you can enjoy, and not worry about grinding or getting the best gear.
To start out, Lunias game play is very similar to that of those wondrous arcade founding fathers like Gauntlet. It is, to be brief, an online beat-em-up. However, there is just too many ways to actually beat the monsters up that you might be a little overwhelmed at first. You can set up your own directional keys to move, so it can be WASD or up, down, left, right, or even the number pad if you want. You of course, use these to move, because the game just really isnt fun if youre not moving. Lunia does have some slight features which make this arcade beat-em-up much more exciting, like the ability to perform amazing aerial combos, unleash powerful skills and do cutesy little dance emotions with your friends. The game does have a very sharp learning curve from the beginning, but you should be able to master some of the basic combos within a few minutes of playing. The only downside to this is that there is no character customization, what-so-ever. The only thing that you can do to make your character unique is to buy items from the cash shop, and we all know how that goes.
The game utilizes classes from the beginning, because lets face it, if it didnt have classes, nobody would really look at the game. There are 3 main generic, boring classes which of course, everyone probably already knows, even if they havent played the game themselves. Yes, Im talking about the Warrior, Magician, Healer trio which you will see in pretty much every single MMORPG for as long as you live. While people may frown upon this, after theyve started playing the game, and realizing that warriors can do more than punch, magicians can actually attack and healers can do some ridiculous damage, they overlook it with not a moment to spare. There are also other classes you can unlock, but I will talk about that later.
While going through the ever-so-fun missions, you will acquire experience points (pause for oohs and ahhs). If you gain enough experience points, you level up! (pause for cheering). After you level up, you gain skill points, which you can use on skills to upgrade them, but some of the skills require you to attain very high levels, such as 30 or 40 (pause for booing). This is one of the things that really turns me off about this game, is that there are some of the coolest skills, but you have to attain ridiculous amounts of leveling to be able to even use them. They could have easily implemented a combo system that can utilize these skills, but they obviously want you to become so addicted you will level until your fingers fall off. The grind isnt that hard, but I will explain why it is so mind-numbingly boring later.
This game actually does have a storyline. Yes, its true, game developers are actually starting to care about a games memorabilia, and not just heres this big world have fun killing these bunnies. It turns out that theres a princess, or something, and her name is Eir, at least I think it is, because some parts of this game were so horribly lost in translation during its beta phase that it looked like someone ate a Japanese and English alphabet soup and then threw up all over Lunia. Anyhow, Eir is the healer you can choose to play as, yes, generic princess is the heal whore, what a surprise, oh, wait, we can add to this cliché! Shes being escorted! By whom you ask? By this weird wizard guy named Dainn, who is also one of the character you can play. He wears a cape and hood and carries a staff, but of course, he has ripped muscles, so he can obviously hit monsters with his little staff thingy as well as cast spells. Well thats no fun, hes not generic enough. So the princess and her escort are walking in the woods and they run into this crazy little warrior boy who I want to punch every time I see him because he looks so painstakingly like Naruto that I am glad I started as a healer, so I could let him die. DIE! MUHAHAHAHAH! Ehm, anyways, his name is Seig and he is the last piece of this generic fairytale puzzle that adds to a story that never takes itself too seriously. Through the game, after you beat a mission, you see a cutscene that unravels part of the story, which does sort of get better. They are constantly trying to make jokes and stuff, but altogether, the story is really just there to be an added bonus to the actual game, because people play this game for fun, not to watch the gimmicky cutscenes.
All-in-all, this game is what arcade action-adventure games should be, with the great experience of having it all online and for free. There isnt much to do with it, per-se but the time you have playing will always be fun. Thats pretty much a guarantee. The newest company that took Lunia under its wing is called 12Foot tall, and the last time I had checked up on it, which was about two weeks ago, they had added a new character, Tia, to the beginning character creation. Shes apparently the generic slutty character, whos a thief wow, go figure. So with that little update, I am guessing they are still planning on continuing to update the game even further. In the other versions of Lunia there is, of course, much more content, so the English version is a bit behind, however, that really doesnt matter because the game is simply about playing a character and experiencing the actual fun there is in an MMORPG like Lunia.
Wonderland Online Review
Written by Kelvin Cheung
There are many types of Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games (MMORPG) out on the Internet. However, IGG (Internet Gaming Gate), the corporation that has brought us Zu Online, Angels Online, and Tales of Pirates, has done something different in appealing the MMORPG market. Wonderland Online is a new game with an innovative battle system, a captivating story, and an abundance of side quests and crafting that can be done.
A big change from most traditional MMORPGs standards of today is that the game is fully two dimensional with 16-bit graphics. Although there are games such as Ragnarok Online that are 2D, the combat system is what stands out. Since most MMORPGs are in real-time combat, the battle system in Wonderland Online is turn-based. To those who have never played a turn-based game, you enter a battle through a random encounter by approaching an enemy, walking around, or an event. During battle, in the case of Wonderland Online, you have commands such as attack with an equipped weapon, use skills or items, defend from attacks, auto-attack, capture monsters, or escape from battle. The battle system is slow and can be monotonous, but a certain item can be acquired to help you not click the same buttons.
When starting the game for the first time, you have twelve characters to choose, including one hidden character in the game, preset with their own hairstyle and body shape. You can do different changes such as modify the skin, eye, clothing, and hair color, and select the element you want, which will determine which skills you will have, and status point distribution.
Graphically, Wonderland Online will not win any awards, but to those who have played the 16-bit game graphics genre will feel a nostalgic charm to the game. The game is filled with anime sprites. Sometimes there are cut scenes where a picture is shown with a detailed version of the character or the NPC (Non-playable character), which takes a break from the usual anime sprites that you see often in the game.
The music of Wonderland Online, although reminiscent to the Super Nintendo era, has some ups and downs. Some of the background music fit with the game, such as the island setting of the game, while the other background music are not as memorable.
There are some technical issues while playing the game. Some of these issues include translation errors, sometimes making the dialog confusing. Sometimes, the dialog accidentally has some vulgarity issues in the conversation during an event due to mistranslation. Aside from the translation, I noticed while in battle, when I defeat an enemy using a random tag team attack, I get two items instead of one. Although it is nice to get two items instead of one, this bug should be noticed.
One major issue lies in the special item known as the remote control. This clever item allows the players to automatically attack enemies and replenish health points and skill points. If used correctly, a player can easily be away from keyboard or AFK, and gain experience and loot, items that are obtained by killing enemies. While this item, although convenient as it is described, causes issues with gameplay. The game is very grinding, or tedious when training, and the game requires you to actually legitimately bot, an automated system to attack, harvest, and/or leveling, with the remote control item, which is often looked down upon other MMORPGs. Aside from legality issues, I have often played the game while AFK to train my character. After returning for two hours I find myself gaining only twenty percent of experience of the time leaving the computer on.
Beside from the issues, Wonderland Onlines plot is well executed. It can be from calm to dramatic, causing a roller coaster feeling. I found myself immersed with the story of the game because the way the story was told was spellbinding. However, the pace of the story is slowed down if you are not at a high level.
Another plus of Wonderland Online is the crafting system. If the players find themselves bored with the game, they can start crafting items to explore or to decorate the interior of their tents, an item that serves as a miniature house for the player. The vastness of the game can be explored through creating vehicles such as rafts, boats, aircraft, or even UFOs. To those who do not want to explore but want to show off their interior design, the players can also craft furniture to decorate the interior of the tents of the players. Sadly, it comes down to whether or not the player has enough patience to sit down and get the items from the monsters killed to craft the items.
The community of Wonderland Online is very active. Very often you will see the chat box be filled with world messages with people having conversations, thanks to the free radio item. When events occur, the players will log on to participate diligently, causing the servers to flood. Some of the events can be ingenious, such as Kung Fu Panda, based on the animated movie, while others can be for a good cause. The dedication of the prayer event for the disaster of the earthquake in China shows that the players of Wonderland Online are dedicated to the game and the events outside of the game.
Lastly, the website for Wonderland Online is first-timers friendly, giving access to a variety of information. I found myself often using the Wonderland Online website database for quests, characters, and locations, rather than having myself lost at Google. In addition, the forum has an abundance of information from finding a certain quest item, a hidden character, or a great training area. And should a player have technical problems, a 24/7 support is always available for needs of anyone.
Wonderland Online has some gameplay and technical issues, but the community and dedication to making this game worthwhile stands still. I found Wonderland Online to be a different experience along with many extras to do. This game has many hopes in becoming a standalone MMORPG.
