Atlantica Online Launch Exceeds Expectations: NDoors Opens New Servers to Accomodate Player Influx

The official launch of Atlantica Online is exceeding expectations.

The strategic turn-based MMORPG, which sends players on a globe-hopping adventure around the Earth, has seen tremendous growth since its debut with the number of daily unique players doubling. The average number of concurrent players has increased by 300 percent since introduction and has filled servers to capacity. NDOORS Interactive will be opening new servers beginning Saturday, Nov. 8.

“The response for Atlantica has been nothing short of amazing,” said Peter Kang, CEO, NDOORS Interactive. “We understand that the foundation and lifeblood of every MMO is its community, and we can’t thank our players enough.”

NDOORS is currently running a promotion that gives players multiple chances to win thousands in cash and prizes by participating in the game’s PvP area called the Free Leagues. NDOORS is also hosting a satisfaction guarantee program. NDOORS will give $20 to qualified players who decide they don’t want to continue with the game. Players have until Nov. 30 to win any of the bonuses or apply for the satisfaction guarantee program.

Atlantica Online is set on Earth, in a parallel reality that takes players through a fantastic journey to discover the lost secrets of Atlantis. With its heavy emphasis on strategy, Atlantica was designed to stand out amongst the ‘cookie-cutter’ MMOs. The strategic gameplay incorporated into the turn-based combat, mercenary and country management systems will appeal to strategy and RPG players.

Lunia US Review

By Jeroen, Onrpg writer

Lunia US is a very different MMORPG, because in most other MMOs you are able to walk freely around the world. But in Lunia this is very different. Lunia uses an Animatic Cinema System, which means you your player experience is closer to reading a book.

Animatic Cinema System
The game is set up on pages, which we shall call episodes. In every episode there are 10 stages or more to play. When you start a stage you first get to see a short comic. In this comic you are told in detail is happening and what you will have to do in the following stages. After this the mission starts.

In these missions you can choose to play alone or with other people playing the game. To team up, you choose to ‘wait’ before starting these missions. That way you can find more people who are on the same mission and join up with them. If you start straight away, you will go alone; nobody can join once you’ve started. At the end of every stage you need to beat a boss of varied difficulties; some are hard, some are easy. Those are the moments to team up with a party or a guild.

Levelling System
Lunia also uses a Levelling System. While you are playing through the different stages you can level pretty fast. It’s possible to reach level 20 in no time. While you are levelling, you can unlock other stages from an episode. But this game is not only about finishes the stages, there are also many quests.

These quests are to be found in the Square, a basic meeting ground for all people where you can buy new weapons, armor, potions ect. All around the square there are NPCs who will give you quests when you reach a minimal level. Next to quests you can also find secrets in different stages, which can sometimes be rather hard to find.

Player versus Play (PVP)
When you get bored with questing and finishing stages you can also battle other players in PVP. Fighting another player is a lot harder than doing the missions and you have a chance to learn to use your skills and skill-combinations and don’t forget your brains.

Lunia is Free to Play MMO with a choice to pay for special items, that can be bought with coins that need to be paid for.
What I think of this game.

Lunia is a great RPG to play. I haven’t seen any negative things, only that its mostly just one and all the same thing, do a stage finish it go after the other stage. But its just how I think it is, I prefer to play games where you can choose what you’re going to do. But for the people who are interested in the stage system, you will enjoy it.

Earthrise is a post apocalyptic science fiction MMORPG set in the distant future.

In the aftermath of the Third World War, mankind has managed to survive and build a new society: the prosperous city of Sal Vitas. Cloning, nanotechnology and quantum engineering are part of a new reality. Thanks to these technological advances, the human species has become immortal; each individual’s consciousness is stored in a data vault, ready to be uploaded into a cloned body as necessary. New energy sources have been discovered. There is a unified government that takes good care of those citizens who abide by its strict laws. Paradise, it appears, might really have come to Earth, and the people have embraced it.

But not everything is as perfect as it appears. By exercising full control over the cloning process, Sal Vitas’ government decides who will live and who will not, playing the role of God on Earth.

Insurgent forces have accused the city’s rulers of crimes against humanity. Armed factions fight for resources and power within the new system. And from the waves of discontent, a rebellion has fomented and formed a shadow government: Noir.

Featuring a unique skill-based advancement system and player-driven economy, as well as extensive, meaningful player-vs.-player combat, Earthrise gives you innumerable choices to forge your destiny. Whether you’re a noble soldier in the raging conflict between the Utopia and the rebellion, a criminal hiding from the law or a world-renowned engineer whose power extends into intricate trade and politics, your actions will echo throughout the game world.

Key Features: – A unique post-apocalyptic setting where the cloned remnants of mankind battle to survive and rebuild. Yet while humanity may have evolved, human nature remains as treacherous as ever…

Tales of Pirates: Industrial Forging

The players from Tales of Pirates recently had some fun with an industrial experiment in game. In the last chapter we heard about Analyzing, today we will continue with a quick glance at another handicraft, Forging.

Many players have strong interests in forging because through forging they can create whatever gear they want or need themselves. There is no need for them to fight hard with BOSSes and hoping the gear drops are exactly what they want, they get it right the first time!

Necessities for Forging:
Fairy Analyzing Skills: Can be learned from the Lifeskill Book of Forging Pet Fairies.
Blueprint: The design drawing, of which the rank must be smaller or equal to the character’s forging skill level.
Tool: Anti Matter Crystal.
Forging Effect: When the forging begins, the dice will start to shake. Players will need to guess Big or Small. The guess will determine the outcome of the forging.

Analyzing Flow:
Find the Big Furnace at Thundoria Castle (759, 1474).
Click to open the Forging page, and then drag the necessary items, Blueprint, pet Fairy, raw materials and Anti Matter Crystal into their corresponding positions. Remember the Blueprint must be put into first slot!
Click Start, then the progress bar below will begin to move. Watch the dice on the right side, they will then start shaking. Players will need to guess Big or Small. Your guess will determine the outcome.
