League of Legends Community More Than Doubles
League of Legends Community More than Doubles in Four Months
Riot Games today announced that over four million people play League of Legends every day – a staggering increase of more than double since Riot last announced the size of its community in July 2011. With 11.5 million monthly active players, peak concurrency reaching 1.3 million, and a registered player base of over 30 million worldwide, League of Legends is about to enter its second competitive season as one of the top five PC games in North America and Europe.
Set to begin in the very near future, League of Legends: Season Two will feature an unprecedented prize pool of five million dollars – the largest in eSports history – culminating in a global $2 million tournament where Riot will crown the best League of Legends team in the world. Players can look forward to comprehensive coverage of the eSports scene, game features like spectator mode and ranked teams, and a competitive structure that encourages talented players to team up and compete.
“The incredible passion and dedication of our players is positively inspiring,” said Brandon Beck, co-founder and CEO of Riot Games. “Our community’s boundless enthusiasm is why they are central to every decision we make at Riot.”
“It’s staggering to think about the fact that over a billion games of League of Legends have been played since launch,” said Marc Merrill, co-founder and President of Riot Games. “In 2012, we intend to deliver even more for our growing audience.”
League of Legends, Riot Games’ debut title, celebrated its second anniversary on Oct. 27, 2011. Since its launch, over 30 million players have downloaded the game to engage in session-based, multiplayer battles against rival teams, with more than four million players enjoying League of Legends every day.

Eredan iTCG: It’s Time to Deal
Eredan iTCG: It’s Time to Deal

Eredan is a turn based trading card game played in your browser. In this game you can face opponents in a duel with your own deck of cards. The goal in Eredan is to eliminate the opponent’s deck using your own deck made out of different characters and magic cards.
Deck
The decks are based around Guilds. Character cards are associated with different guild notations such as Kotoba, Mages, Noz’Dingard and Zil Warriors. There are Mercenaries character as well, these characters are not in a guild and can be used in every deck. You can however not use different guilds in one deck.
Gameplay
There are different classes in this game and they all have unique Abilities. There a character cards of the following classes:
Fighter
Mage
Marauder
Priest
Craftsman
Castes
These classes have all their unique abilities with unique stats. There is also a Multi-Class, this class consists of two of the normal classes together.

Before facing your opponent each player receives 5 cards in their hand. These cards help buffer your selected character’s stats. You are able to have three characters in your deck for a match. These characters have to be the same guild or mixed up with mercenaries. Each round consists of five phases. Player turn order is randomly chosen by the computer and then players choose which characters will be used in that round.
In the second phase each player can play one of the five cards they have on hand. A few of these cards have to word Chain on it. If the player decides to pick this card he can select a second card. There can be however some restrictions on this process as marked on the cards.
In the third phase the character cards do both their physical attacks. The damage dealt is calculated by his own and the opponent’s card Attack and Defense. There are many differences between characters and therefore all kinds of different stats are compared, such as: Attack, Defense, Life points, Spirit and Magic damage. If at the end of this phase a character card has 0 health left, it is considered dead and removed from the match.
In the fourth phase the character card involved in the previous combat are tagged. Character cards can be tagged when they have been engaged in a battle with another card. Once all the character cards have been in a battle they will all become untagged and are ready to fight again. However being tagged doesn’t protect a card from being targeted by healing, damage, or magic spells.
In the fifth and last step players can discard their cards that are remaining in their hand. They can discard all cards if they want to but there’s a catch to it. Your deck is limited so tossing out too many cards too early can severely hinder your performance in the final rounds of a match.
The game comes to an end as soon as one of the players has lost all three of their character cards.
Cash shop
The currency in Eredan is Crystals and is earned by playing matches and completing quests. There is however also a currency which you can buy with real money. This currency is called Fee’z and can be purchased through standard methods as well as by cell phone.
Conclusion
Overall Eredan doesn’t do a lot, but what it does it does well. It is a tactical game where strategy and knowing the strengths and weaknesses of your deck play a major role in your victory or defeat. I personally am not a big fan of trading card games but this game kept me captivated longer than most. Unfortunately the game’s population is low and sometimes it takes a few minutes to find an opponent. This is however a must try for trading card game fans, and I hope the population improves as it deserves more players than it has.

Rappelz Releases Master Classes
Rappelz Releases the Master Classes!
The highest goal of all Rappelz players now stands within reach: the Master Class has arrived! The much-anticipated Rappelz Epic VII: Ascension went live on November 16, hot on the heels of the game’s 5 Year Anniversary, and brought with it a new set of quests, equipment, and skills that catapult each of the game’s classes into a whole new level of power.
The previous chapter in the grand epic of Rappelz brought players face-to-face with Lucian, the mad scientist whose evil experiments flooded the world with monsters. Now in the wake of that victory, they can finally enter the Master Trial and prove their worth against a series of ruthless enemies and devious puzzles. Those strong enough to survive will ascend to the highest rank for their class and earn a unique set of skills and striking equipment to fight the forces of evil.
Each Master Class represents a huge advance in power for Rappelz players. These new classes turn into a whirl of blades and magic with automatic chances to counter, permanent ability boosts, and buffs that add up with each enemy slain. They can also damage huge swaths of enemies or heal entire parties of allies with the introduction of area-of-effect spells and chained effects. Only the most dedicated heroes will reach this peak and unleash their full potential!
Rappelz Epic VII: Ascension also features a unique solo dungeon and the latest addition to the roster of Rappelz pets. The Stone Golem pet supports its master in battle by absorbing huge amounts of damage. Outside of battle, it improves its master’s power by creating enhancement cubes that can be applied to weapons or armor. It’s the perfect companion to take into the new Vulcanus dungeon, where players and their pets must stand alone against waves of more and more dangerous enemies until they reach the old master Vulcanus himself, deep in the pit of his lair.
Great challenges await in Rappelz Epic VII: Ascension, but great rewards come to those brave enough to face them.

RIFT Emerges From the Embers in Update 1.6
RIFT Emerges From the Embers in Update 1.6
Trion World’s Massive Fantasy RIFT brings yet another update with From the Embers. The Ascended are summoned to Ember Isle by the proud Kelari in an attempt to reclaim the holy land from the Firey RIFTs.
Players can now take up arms through numerous new dungeons and Slivers to free Ember Isle and return it to the rightful rulers, the Kelari. As you journey through the island you will come across the Farcian Dwarves, imposing corrupted ruins, and eventually an order of monks assigned to guard the Dragon of Fire imprisoned in the volcano that marks the center of the map.
This update culminates in Caduceus Rise, RIFT’s newest and largest dungeon to date. The Ascended will be forced to battle through a dungeon with 11 bosses and non-linear progression, ensuring plenty of replayability. In addition, 2 expert mode wings exist for truly adventurous players!
In addition, three new Slivers will open up for teams of 10 to explore and uncover the secrets of Telara’s past. These alternative dimensions allow you to visit various key moments in time, particularly those of the Dragon Cultist’s greatest victory, to acquire knowledge and power that may be used to save the real Telara in times to come.
In Rise of the Phoenix, players travel back to the Eth Empire in which priests are attempting to summon Titan slaves through a massive gate. This ritual is corrupted by Dragonian forces, resulting in the portal opening to the Plane of Fire and turning High Priest Arakhurn into a raging Phoenix. This Tier-2 Sliver is sure to give even the most hardened players a true test of their skill.
In Gilded Prophecy, The Ascended must prevent the revival of Laethys, Queen of Greed, and discover the location of a dangerous relic to prevent it from being obtained in the real Telara. The third new Sliver, Drowned Halls, features an alternate reality where the mad Akylios has claimed ultimate victory. Now Hydriss has amassed the dark dragon’s most vicious servants to invade the real Telara. Stop this invasion before it starts to protect our reality!
Aika Online Releases Karena Island Update
Aika Online Releases Karena Island Update
From the first day they summoned their pint-sized fairy friend, every Aika Online player has waited for the day when she would reach her full power as an Adult Pran. That day has finally come with the release of Aika Epic II: Karena on November 17, which introduces the long-awaited final evolution of the pran. Players will need every ounce of their pran’s new strength to defend the island of Karena from evil and seize glory for themselves in the revised Relic War system.
Each pran begins life as an inquisitive fairy no bigger than your hand, and over time evolves into a loyal battle companion with a personality shaped by her master’s actions. Now, teenage prans can join their masters on a quest to craft a Pran Evolution Stone that will transform her into her adult form and open up two powerful skills to help her master in combat. Each pran will also gain her adult wings, with a style determined by her personality, and she can dress in stylish new costumes and accessories which can be augmented through the new Pran Enchantment System to give stat boosts.
But evil looms over this happy day, as the resource rich island of Karena is under threat from the Zereca, Arcan’s oldest enemy. The nations have banded together to build a new weapon, the Caelium Cannon, with the power to drive away these fiends – but only if it can be finished in time! Players must defend the cannon from the raiding Zerecan forces and escort it safely to the enemy’s stronghold to end this threat to Karena at last.
Despite the danger, Arcan’s warring factions continue to fight amongst themselves for the greatest glory, and the game’s massive PvP system receives its latest upgrade with an overhaul of the popular Relic War System. Now powerful relics, including several new ones, will be more difficult to acquire but easier to upgrade, so that great risk leads to great reward. Each nation can now upgrade their relics to level 3 and take advantage of the most powerful buffs to defeat their foes – at least as long as they can defend the relics they have captured from the organized assaults of rival nations.
Before jumping into the action be sure to grab a gift pack from OnRPG’s Aika Karena Gift Pack Giveaway page! For more Pran evolutions check out our updated screenshot section.
