Orcs Must Die! Unchained

Orcs Must Die! Unchained is a multiplayer Fortress Siege action game in the same family as the original Orcs Must Die! games. Teams of five players battle as they set up traps and summon armies to fight against an enemy assault.

Features:

Attack and Defend: Drop into the thick of competitive siege warfare: unleash minions, build a gauntlet of traps, and charge into the enemy stronghold!

Choose Your Hero: Choose from dozens of heroes that include old friends like the War Mage and Sorceress, and new friends like Blackpaw and Stinkeye. Hero or villain, plenty of powerful options are at your fingertips.

Collect & Customize: From the crazy collections of heroes, weapons, traps, and minions, you can build an arsenal to strategize for every match.

State of Decay

State of Decay is a zombie-survival open world game developed by Undead Labs. Life as you know it has gone to hell after the mother of all zombie outbreaks. You and the few scattered survivors must band together to survive and rebuild in a 3rd-person action game set in a dynamic open world.

NOTE: This is a buy-to-play retail game

Features:

Zombie Survival: It’s not just about combat; it’s about doing what you must do to stay alive. Food, water, shelter, and ammo — you’ll need them all. Taking you beyond the initial panic, and beyond the first weeks of the crisis, State of Decay is the embodiment of the “What if?” zombie apocalypse scenario.

Sweet Action: Move through the world like a zombie-slaying badass. Dive through windows, jump on cars, and take it to the living dead with baseball bats. Hop in a truck and mow down some undead pedestrians. Break into the local police station and clear out their arsenal or walk into the local grocery store to stock up on your favorite junk food.

An Evolving World: State of Decay is an open sandbox world that develops in real-time, dynamically generating content based on your actions, the choices you make, and the ever-increasing zombie threat. Decide where you’d like to set up a fortified safe haven for you and other survivors you’ve rescued, then form raiding parties to gather resources and create supply chains. Use the materials you’ve gathered to develop your community as you see fit, but be careful — resources will deplete as you pillage areas, and zombies are attracted to noise and activity.

RuneScape Player Power Sees Easter Replaced With Cabbage Facepunch

Runescape Cabbage What

Easter. It’s a time for chocolate eggs. A time when bunnies roam the fields leaving little baskets of presents for children. And now it’s also a time for a Cabbage Facepunch Bonanza, thanks to nearly 100,000 RuneScape players who took to the polls to have their say. When asked whether they wanted a comedic interlude, or a more traditional rabbit and chocolate offering, 66% of those 100,000 voters went for the cabbages and the monkeys. We guess they’re not rabbit fans then…

Launching this week, the humorous Cabbage Facepunch Bonanza event pits Brassica Prime, a Cabbage God obsessed with all things delicious, against Marimbo, Ape Goddess, party animal, and lover of all things fun, in a competition to determine who is supreme. The voting of the event was part of the RuneScape “Power to the Players” initiative, which puts key game decisions back in the hands of the people that matter most – the RuneScape community.

The Cabbage Facepunch Bonanza is played on a large field with a safe zone on either side. Played in a series of rounds, players have just a short time to run from one side to the next while avoiding hazards, earning points by surviving rounds, mining cabbage ore and, yes, punching monkeys in the face. However if they don’t make it back to the safe zones in time they will be turned into a gorilla guard and will have to attack the remaining players as they run across the map in order to score points.

As a reward for taking part in the event players will earn points which can be spent on cosmetic items, as well as bonus Farming XP and Slayer VIP tokens.  The Cabbage Facepunch Bonanza launches this week, and players will be able to earn cosmetic items until Friday 25th April.

Dofus: Update 2.19 Now Available

Dofus

DOFUS is celebrating its 10th birthday in 2014. Also, it’s having today its first major update of the year. On the menu, the addition of new features like treasure hunting, monster waves mode and dimensional travel.

The Divine Dimensions, the theme of the year
Divine Dimensions are the new theme of the year, shared by both DOFUS and WAKFU: they’ll be at the heart of upcoming updates. Originally, Divine Dimensions were private spaces, reserved to gods and some of their most deserving followers. But now, every adventurer of the World of Twelve can access them. For this to happen, they will need to follow the clues to find the portal leading to a divine dimension. But… in DOFUS, the location of the portal changes regularly! These areas offer players a real challenge, thanks to dungeons that use the new monster wave system; to combat modifiers (a buff and a debuff are applied to each fight within the dimension) and to other survival constraints.

Enurado, the first Divine Dimension
Enurado is a dimension created and ruled by the god Enutrof. It’s only one of the numerous hiding places where the Miser keeps his treasures. It’s the first divine dimension that the players’ characters can visit. They are sent there by the Order Errant to bring back a magical ore: orichor, a substance charged with divine energy. Enurado contains 3 dungeons (levels 100, 150 and 200), a new line of quests, new combat modifications (which changes regularly) and the new monster waves mode. Players wil face 3 bosses (one for each type of creature present in the dimension) as well as the Enutrof god (in the form of a gigantic chest-dragon).

Treasure hunting, the innovative feature
The opening of the first portal to Enurado has consequences in the World of Twelve: countless treasures have been hidden in every corner of the world. Thanks to magic maps and clues, adventurers can go look for them! After following the treasure clues, the player will be standing at the exact location of one of these treasures, which they must then fight to claim!

Waves of monsters
It’s a new combat system which awaits players in the dungeons of Enurado. The player will no longer progress through several rooms within a dungeon, benefiting from a break to heal between each combat. Now, it’s a single fight, during which new waves of monster will appear. No more downtime, no more resting!

Three Swordsman Classes Revealed

Swordsman Whirlwind Attack

Perfect World Entertainment has released more detailed information today about three of the ten Swordsman Online classes. Each class – or martial arts school – is designed to be distinctly different from each other, offering a completely unique combat style. Today are revealed the Wu-Tang, Sun and Moon, and House Tang.

The Wu-Tang are masters of Taoism, combining inner force and physical strength to become superb group fighters.  Swinging heavy two-handed blades with ease, masters of the Wu-Tang styles supplement their raw physical damage with effects that buff and heal themselves and their entire group. Some of their skills can create an attracting gravitational force, power up their attacks, and even sweep away enemies.

Wu Tang Dragons

The Sun and Moon are described as heretical disciples, deadly assassins with high mobility and heavy damage. Armed with twin blades linked by chain, many of their skills focus on single targets and let them attack in close quarters or at range. Their sinister powers can steal away the life force of enemies, distributing it to the cultist and their group. Skills also include multiple throwing techniques and status effects to control and cripple their foes.

House Tong relies on guns rather than blades. A family-like school, famous for their firearms and throwing weapons, House Tong members use traps to keep enemies at distance and attack from afar. These masters of firearms provide excellent damage in group combat situations, and with high attack speed and quick movement, the House Tong skills will frustrate any enemy. Skills allow House Tong members to deal damage to multiple targets, to strike away enemies that get too close, and to use traps to control and stun enemies.
