We Are Good games is proud to announce that after 50,000 views and thousands of player votes on Steam’s Greenlit service, “The World 2” has been accepted as a greenlit game. The World 2 will now be able to produce a Single-player version of their MMORPG game allowing players the opportunity to play the game offline on their PC, Mac, and Linux.

We Are Good has promised two version of the game for players. A single-player version (The World 2) will allow players to play the original game with all 80 bosses and 30 hero types with no need for additional purchases. The multiplayer version (The World Online 2) will allow for free to play gaming with in-game purchases, up to date monster rosters growing every month, trading of armor and weapons, and the opportunity to play online with others on Steam.

Today, Google’s Niantic Labs launched Ingress on iOS, bringing the real-world adventure game to iPhone and iPad devices around the world for the first time. Already downloaded more than 4 million times on Android, players with iOS devices can now join forces with a massive global community of Ingress agents for seamless cross-platform play.

Viagame, the online eSports channel by Swedish media company MTG, will be producing and broadcasting the world’s biggest eSports tournament in several languages live from Seattle on July 18-21.

Viagame will be producing and broadcasting The International Dota 2 Championship exclusively in Czech, Swedish, Romanian and Bulgarian, with studios in both Seattle and Stockholm. Viagame will also produce an exclusive format titled ‘Jess @’, where top host Jess Brohard will be doing interviews with pro players as well as behind the scenes and bonus coverage from the event. Viagame’s efforts mark the biggest production yet for The International by a media house in the western region*.

Valve Corporation released the game Dota 2 in July 2013 and today the game has millions of players and viewers, with The International being the biggest competitive tournament. This year, the prize pool of The International 4 is a staggering $10,000,000 and counting, with the majority of it being crowd funded by the Dota 2 community. This is by far the biggest prize sum to date within competitive gaming, and it is also makes The International one of the world’s biggest events within sports in general.

Viagame’s productions from the event are the biggest yet to be done for The International by a media house in the western region.

After a bit of a delay in May/June, the BSC Days of July will be starting at 10AM EDT/2PM GMT today.

For those who haven’t seen previous updates, this week is dedicated to Backers, without whose support none of this would have been possible. They will have a week full of presentations, live Q&As, contests, and much more. Among other things, they are going to talk about the magic system, combat system, world map, and crafting, as well as technical presentations from Andrew and the team.

There will also be contests that are open to everybody, not just the Backers (though they will have some Backer-only contests and giveaways as well throughout the BSC Days and beyond).
