Wargaming today announced details for its upcoming Soviet Steel update for World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition, as well as information on the Combat Ready Starter Pack that will offer players a tremendous value and exclusive items for the console free-to-play title.

Representing the largest single content update so far for the title, the Soviet Steel, slated to go live on June 3rd, will enrich the game’s roster with 29 iconic USSR tank destroyers, light, medium, and heavy tanks, bringing the in-game vehicle total to over 150. The intimidating IS-3; a brutal close quarters and urban combat icon, the ISU-152; a high tier tank destroyer, and more will clash on two new battlegrounds—Komarin and Ensk.

The company also announced the Combat Ready Starter Pack, containing a war chest’s worth of in-game gold and other goodies at a discounted price of £15.99. Included in the package are:

• The premium Panzer 38H Tier II German light tank, famously known for its heavy armor and quick firing gun.
• 3 days of premium account time granting 50% boost in accumulated Silver and experience.
• 200,000 in-game Silver.
• 1500 in-game Gold.
• 30-day voucher code for Xbox Live Gold status.

The Combat Ready Starter pack will be available this August.

Ahead of E3, Square Enix is excited to announce the Prophet as the latest character to be joining the Human roster in Nosgoth, from today. Attendees at E3 this year will be able to get hands-on in the dark fantasy world of Humans vs. Vampires, where the new character class will be playable within the City of the Razielim, a brand new map set in the underground for the very first time.

The Human character, Prophet, delivers severe damage to Vampire characters, with her blood curses and magical abilities. Using tainted blood as weapons, bullets dipped in the fluid carry wicked hexes that the Prophet can use against the Vampires. Dual handguns are their weapons of choice and they can select between three unique types:

Dual pistols – Two finely crafted flintlock pistols
Heavy pistols – Heavier Flintlocks that deal more damaging, but fire more slowly
Quick pistols – Lightweight flintlocks that can fire rapidly at the cost of power

As the first class to wield dual weapons along with the ability to use powerful curses and magic, the Prophet is a welcome addition to any team with both supporting and offensive capabilities to aid her allies and devastate her enemies.

Soon to be available after the new character update will be four new terrifyingly striking skins, which allow players to customise a stand out Nosgoth experience, in the fight for supremacy and survival.

Gloria Victis takes a major step forward towards building their ideal sandbox MMORPG world today with update 0.0.6.7, focusing on crafting, hunting, and beaches. This update not only expands the playable landscape by 30% and introduces swimming and swimming animations, it also makes the all important connection of gatherable resources and craftable goods a reality.

The current state of the crafting system is as follows:
– Ability to gather resources.
– Ability to use resources to craft into items.
– Ability to gain proficiency in a craft.
– Proficiency Based Success.
– 250 Recipes (Already!).
– Temporary Access to all professions for test purposes.

Final Goal of Crafting:
– Unique animation for every gathering and crafting process.
– Crafting process mini-game extension.
(Reflexes, Timing, judgement, stable hands and dextrous fingers will be needed for these tasks)
– Skill of player determination of success.
(Tasks still can be delegated to chance (based on proficiency) with easier tasks having 100% success rate for master craftsman such as smelting ore but higher end tasks such as the actual forging of a blade would be benefited by a skilled player taking over the process personally)
– Addition of many, many more recipes.
– Players have a maximum of 200 crafting points, mastery of a craft requires 100 points be put in. Therefore, players can choose to be a jack of all trades, a specialist or a bit of both.
– Possible extension of maximum crafting points if the player decides to invest in wisdom traits in character creation / development.

To further implement (aka force) these changes on the current alpha testers, Gloria Victis has removed all items previously available for purchase via NPCs. The economy will now be built off player trades, barters, and sells.
