Pockie Kingdom Closed Beta Takes to the Skies

Online games publisher, NGames, has today announced that free-to-play strategy MMO, Pockie Kingdom, will be taking to the skies for its next round of closed beta testing. New airship trading and Plunder War features will be made available when the third round of closed beta launches mid-April 2014.

Pockie Kingdom is a horizontal strategy game currently in closed beta testing on the Game321.com games portal. Players manage stunning kingdoms from their thrones as they seek to dominate the land, whether expanding through clever use of trade and politics, or taking on other players in thrilling quests for glory. With multiple choices of soldiers and deep tactical options, Pockie Kingdom gives players the freedom to develop their own best match of troops and heroes to protect and serve their realm.

Launching mid-April, the sky is the limit for Pockie Kingdom’s third round of closed beta testing, where players will be able to board their very own airships for aerial trading and plundering.

Planets³ is a beautifully presented, unique mix of adventure, RPG, dungeon crawler and building. Truly breath-taking landscapes and environments will be achieved through voxel-based graphics and the “Long Distance Display Engine”. Progress through the game is achieved through “levelling-up” their character, embarking on various story-driven quests, tool-building and habitation and vehicle crafting. All of these things contributing to ever-deeper exploration of the planets in the vast universe.

Crunchyroll to stream english subbed version of Blade & Soul anime

Chrunchyroll, an anime and Asian media streaming service, has recently announced that they will be streaming an English subbed version of Blade & Soul on every Thursday starting on April 3rd at 12:46pm Pacific Time for premium members, with free members able to watch one week later.

“Based on the popular Korean MMORPG, Blade and Soul is an original anime that revolves around a female assassin named Alka. Alka, a sword-woman with proficient skills, defeats foes by a single stroke. She travels with an aim to avenge her master Hong’s death, of which vendetta was required by the rules of the tribe she belongs to.”

Lego Artist to Build 50,000 Piece WildStar Rocket House

If you’ve pre-ordered WildStar, the highly anticipated MMO from Carbine Studios, you’ll be resting your feet in your exclusive Rocket House on planet Nexus soon enough. If you’re heading to PAX East, you’ll have a chance to see said Rocket House in the flesh made of 50,000 Legos! Throughout the show, Lego artist Mariann Asanuma will be building a replica Rocket House made of Legos standing nearly three feet tall and four feet long in the PAX East show lobby. The completed sculpture will be donated to Child’s Play, a game industry charity dedicated to improving the lives of children with toys and games in its network of 70 hospitals worldwide, along with a $10,000 donation.

A miniature version of the Lego Rocket House will be given away to one lucky fan who pre-orders WildStar at the WildStar booth (#562) during the show.

The Rocket House will be on display from Friday, April 11 through Sunday, April 13 during show hours in the Main Lobby of the Boston Convention and Exhibit Center.

    Mariann Asanuma found her fascination with LEGO at an early age when she received her first set at the age of six. In early 2007, Mariann became the world’s first female freelance LEGO Artist and LEGO instruction author. Her first book “How to Build a Round Ball with Square Bricks!” explains the techniques and theory of how a Master Model Designer creates a LEGO ball. Her second book “Beyond the Ball” shows how to add color and design to your LEGO creations.
