New Manderville Gold Saucer Details for Final Fantasy XIV
Today, Square Enix has revealed new details and assets for the Manderville Gold Saucer, arriving in Final Fantasy XIV on February 24. Events in the Gold Saucer include:
Chocobo Racing, Racing, and Covering
Saddle up atop a majestic bird and go roaring down the turf to be crowned the fleetest in all of Eorzea! Chocobo racing, or “the sport of sultans”, as some have taken to calling it, is an experience like none other.
Even the best bird has its limits, so what’s a trainer to do when their chocobo reaches theirs? Arrange a “covering”, a union between two retired veterans to produce fledglings of a higher pedigree.

Triple Triad
You and an opponent are locked in single combat – the five cards in your hand your sole weapon and your wits alone will help guide you to victory or defeat. This is Triple Triad, the gaming phenomenon that’s swept Eorzea!

Cactpot
The Cactpot comes in two varieties, Mini and Jumbo. Both involve the simple act of purchasing a ticket, which has the potential to yield a fortune of MGP. With the potential to be highly lucrative, adventurers are encouraged to enter early and often. As they like to say, “You need to be in it to win it!”

Mini Attractions
In addition to chocobo racing and Triple Triad, the Gold Saucer hosts several minigames for your entertainment. Simple yet captivating, you can never have too much time to enjoy these mini-attractions.
G.A.T.E.
While enjoying the sights and sounds of the Gold Saucer, adventurers may happen upon audience-participatory events known as Gold Saucer Active Time Events, or GATEs. Why not join in the revelry with your comrades by seeking out a nearby GATE client?

Call of Combat: WW2 Strategy Game Starts Kickstarter Campaign
The prequel of Call of Combat was developed in 2002 by the student Florian Käding as a private project. The game was a multiplayer squad-based real-time strategy game set in the Second World War. It soon attracted a large community of dedicated players that kept the game alive for almost 10 years. The support needed to keep Call of Combat running on ever more modern systems proved to be an uphill battle and after 10 years it was decided to create a more contemporary version of Call of Combat.
Now KAVA needs the help of the Call of Combat community, fans, friends and family in order to finalize their game. They have a 30 day Kickstarter Campaign starting today and ends on the 20th of March. During the Kickstarter campaign, KAVA will be hosting a Leaderboard Competition with their Kickstarter demo for everyone who has pledged, in which achievements can be won. With the community’s support, they wish to;
- create a full-blown leveling system based on real military ranks
- add an elaborate chain of command structure in-game that encourages teamplay
- a strategic map with a battle planning feature
- include a team-mate communication system based on easy to use shout-outs and pings
- add the ability to trade and loot weapons, which enables you to pick up weapons from the dead
- and many more..

Now the action of World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition will expand onto the battle arena of Xbox One as Wargaming’s iconic tanks deploy a new generation of tank warfare. Just like the Xbox 360 Edition, this title will be available as a free download for all Xbox Live Gold members*.
