Camelot Unchained Begins Backer Voting on Class Reveals

Today’s CityState Games Livestream overview focused on the upcoming 10 week reveal of classes and trio archetypes for Camelot Unchained. Backers will be able to vote in email surveys to push for follow-up stream reveals of the silhouettes teased on this page.

Camelot Unchained Class Silhouttes

While dedicated followers of Camelot Unchained may recognize a few of these (our predictions below!), there are certainly far more classes pictured than we anticipated. It seems after working through the paths systems for customizing individual classes, a few stood out to the point that the developers decided to dedicate entirely new classes to the concepts. As such we’re getting more classes than anticipated without even needing to hit a stretch goal!

As always, Mark Jacobs assured that these additional classes would not impact the progression of development towards launch. Viewers present voted on random numbers to also reveal a class name: TDD- Morrigans. Now the waiting game begins as Camelot Unchained will soon put faces to the characters that will put the RPG in their sandbox realm PvP MMORPG.

DizzyPW Trio Archetype Predictions:

A. Shield Juggernauts
B. Healers
C. Scouts
D. Mages
E. Great Axe Berserkers
F. Archers
G. Blood Mages? This one is throwing me off!
H. Spirit Summoners
I. Veil Stalkers/Walkers
J. Marauders

Elsword Updates Henir’s Dungeon Yet Again

KOG Games, a leading developer and publisher of popular free-to-play action MMORPGs, today announces the launch of the new Henir’s Time and Space Update.

Elsword_Henir_2015_Update

The expansive challenge that is Henir’s Time & Space gets revamped! One of the best things a hard core gamer can look forward to with any epic, side-scrolling brawler is an absolute, no holds barred boss rush. Enter: Henir’s Time and Space Dungeon. Glave, our eerily omniscient guide to all things intergalactic is about to thrust our heroes into a relentless battery of back-to-back boss fights. Henir’s Time and Space Dungeon functions in a similar manner to other Elsword Dungeons. However, each of the 30+ rooms of this enormous Dungeon is home to an individually wrapped boss monster. Players get up close and personal with almost each and every diabolical monstrosity that has plagued the denizens of Elrios in rapid succession. Except now, all of the disgustingly powerful and deviously ingenious bosses of Lanox get to come play whack-a-mole with Elsword’s heroes! Sound evil and wicked hard…? That’s because it is.

However, Glave likes to keep things interesting by putting some awesome events and rewards on the table. From a 2x’s Rewards Weekend Event, Exclusive items, Exclusive Titles, Henir’s Time and Space Dimension Cube NPC Cards, and the big bad One-Time Reward: Players who can stay alive for at least 10 minutes will receive a +10 Keeper of Time and Space Weapon Chest that rewards players with one weapon per character. Players have to act fast though, and get into to Henir’s Time and Space today. Because these weapons, much like the very essence of time and space itself won’t last forever.

ArenaNet TV and Heart of Thorns Launch Trailer Debut at TwitchCon

ArenaNet TV and Heart of Thorns Launch Trailer Debut at TwitchCon news header

ArenaNet is preparing to surprise and delight fans at TwitchCon this Friday, Sept. 25, and Saturday, Sept. 26, delivering two full days of livestreams from the show with new announcements and a slate of original programming for Guild Wars 2 and its upcoming expansion, Heart of Thorns.

One of the biggest highlights at the show will take place on the TwitchCon main stage at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, where ArenaNet game director Colin Johanson will unveil the launch trailer for Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns. That’s in addition to other reveals planned for the segment.

Throughout the rest of the show, the official Guild Wars 2 Twitch channel will become ArenaNet Television, broadcasting from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. PDT on Friday and Saturday. Popular Twitch streamers, ArenaNet developers and other special guests will join segments with in-depth looks at the game, exclusive behind-the-scenes with Heart of Thorns, and spotlights on the game community.

ArenaNet Television will also deliver a slate of programming unlike anything the studio has broadcast before. ArenaNet partnered with the creative minds at iam8bit to create unique original content for TwitchCon such as “A Taste of Tyria,” a Guild Wars 2 themed cooking show hosted by celebrity VO actress Jennifer Hale, the “Guild Wars 2 Game Show,” a trivia show hosted by Dan Casey of The Nerdist, and a live musical segment featuring Guild Wars 2 music composer Maclaine Diemer.

TwitchCon represents the continuing growth of game streaming and the popularity of the personalities who help make it the second greatest pastime on earth.  As one of the biggest exhibitors at this inaugural TwitchCon, ArenaNet sees the show as the ideal place to highlight the player community in Guild Wars 2, widely considered to be one of the best in online gaming. The MMO community, including the throngs of new fans who’ve joined Guild Wars 2 since it went free last month, should prepare for a fun-filled weekend.
