SkyBox Labs, developers of Age of Empires II: The Forgotten and Age of Mythology Extended Edition, announces a new simultaneous turn-based tactics game on Steam Early Access.
Inspired in equal doses by a love of Strategy Games and Action Movies, Armed Tactics is an online multiplayer, turn-based tactics game in which player turns are resolved simultaneously. Take control of a squad of armed units, each with their own specialized weapons and strategic advantages.
“Simultaneous Turn-based games is a long time passion for a lot of our team, with Armed Tactics, our focus is on building a competitive multiplayer community. Launching into Early Access allows us to get the feedback we want from new and expert strategy players during development.” said Steve Silvester, Co-Founder of Skybox Labs, Inc.
Matches play out on visually stunning maps that are custom designed for tense showdowns, surprise attacks and quick getaways. Learn the different character types and special abilities to formulate traps and coordinated attacks – use The Shotgunner to breach walls to launch a sneak attack, or choose the The Gunman’s Scout ability to track opponents behind walls to avoid an ambush.
The thrills and excitement come from trying to outwit your opponent and anticipate what moves will be played and to counter them with deadly efficiency.
Armed Tactics will be available for PC on Steam Early Access beginning May 20.

Warframe Tubemen of Regor Update Arrives on PC
Expanding the ever-evolving Warframe Solar System once again, the new Update — Tubemen of Regor –offers PC players a wealth of new gameplay, weapons, customizations and more. Additions to PvP Conclaves include new Game Modes, Mods and Maps. Three new weapons also add further diversity and power to the Tenno arsenal and Nightmare Trials pit players against extra challenging new enemies with gameplay tweaks and traps!
Primary highlights of update 16.5, Tubemen of Regor, include:
- NEW TILESET: Explore the Sealab, hidden away in Uranus’ vast ocean of helium, methane and ammonia.
NEW WEAPONS:
- BOLTACE – An intimidating Tonfa set designed to match the design of the Boltor.
- DAIKYU – It takes great strength to draw back, but provides added power and range.
- ATOMOS – This particle cannon generates condensed beams of super-heated plasma designed to melt rock to ore, and enemies to molten slag.
CONCLAVES EXPANSION:
- NEW GAME MODES: Players can work with fellow Tenno to shut down the enemy team in Team Annihilation, capturing Oro dropped from each player kill to earn points toward victory, or work against seven other Tenno in a deathmatch free-for-all in Annihilation.
- NEW MODS: New PvP Augment Mods are available for Valkyr Hysteria, Ember Fireblast and Oberon Reckoning.
- NEW MAPS: Canyon Settlement, Freight Line, Navigation Array and Docking Bay have been added to the Conclave Map rotation.

NEW CUSTOMIZATIONS:
- CAGGRO SUGATRA – Expressing the martial finesse and skill of its master, the Strekk Sugatra is based on a Grineer design.
- ADVENTUS ARROW SKIN COLLECTION – A collection of unique arrow skins compatible with any bow. Includes the Cattaril, Sylus and Meer Arrow Skins. Each Skin is also available separately for purchase.

Warhammer: Vermintide Reveals Empire Soldier Class
Independent developer Fatshark today released new details on the third of five playable heroes in Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide. Markus Kruber is a deadly but war weary Empire Soldier. After having recently lost his regiment to horrifying death-magic, Kruber decided he’d had enough of army life and the incompetent leadership of nobles. With a newfound desire to return home to his native Ubersreik, Kruber found employment in the service of Victor Saltzpyre, a Witch Hunter of the Order. Kruber has assisted the Witch Hunter in the escort of a new prisoner – the Bright Wizard, an assignment which fit perfectly into Kruber’s plans, since their destination was his hometown.
”I’ve fought my share of battles against the beastmen of the woods, but these ratmen are different. The warherds are always driven by their bestial nature. They fight hard, but direct. The ratmen are cunning, clever.”
