Starting today, EverQuest is celebrating its 16th anniversary by kicking off a bunch of festivities for players to enjoy.

Today, seven player-created missions from a previous SOE Live event are now available, and will be available until April 27 at 11pm Pacific. Daybreak is also hosting a stream throughout the day on Twitch. Finally, all players can enjoy boosted 160% boosted experience for 16 days (through March 31).

Square Enix, Inc. announced today that FINAL FANTASY® XIV: Heavensward™, the highly-anticipated first expansion for the popular MMORPG, is now available for pre-order in North America on disc and digitally in three versions as the collector’s edition, standard edition and all-in-one bundle which includes both A Realm Reborn® and Heavensward.

The Collector’s Edition package features:

Players will also be able to pre-order the digital versions of each edition which will grant players access to the pre-order bonuses. Additionally, a digital upgrade option will be available for players that want to upgrade to the Collector’s Edition for the in-game bonus items, but forego the physical items.

FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward Collector’s Edition is available for pre-order on disc for $129.99 MSRP and digitally for $59.99 MSRP. The standard edition is available for $39.99 MSRP and the all-in-one bundle is available for $59.99 MSRP.

FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward releases on June 23, 2015 and will feature a new story which plunges adventurers into the heart of the Dragonsong War, the bloody thousand-year conflict between the knights of Ishgard and the dragons of Dravania. Adventurers can also look forward to an increased level cap from 50 to 60 for all disciplines, a new playable race, new dungeons and raids, new primal battles, and new mounts that allow players to take to the skies—flying black chocobos®, single-rider airships, dragons and more!

New and lapsed players are urged to join their fellow adventurers in uncovering the mysteries of A Realm Reborn as completing the main scenario quest will be required to play Heavensward.

* Early access is scheduled to start on Friday, June 19, 2015. Please note that there is a possibility of maintenance taking place during the early access period. In order to enjoy the benefits of early access to Heavensward content, players need to be playing FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn and have completed the main scenario. The CO team is welcoming the first big expansion of 2015, Taoists Ascending! Taoists are one of the most popular classes in Conquer Online (http://co.99.com/), especially to female players. Taoism is a religion of unity and opposites; Yin and Yang. The principle of Yin Yang sees the world filled with complementary forces – action and non-action, light and dark, hot and cold. As the master of abundant magic spells good at damage and buffing allies, a Taoist is needed in team battle.

NEW SKILLS:
The lotus is a powerful religious symbol of Taoism. Purity, divine beauty, resurrection, and enlightenment are all contained in this symbol. Man is rooted in the materialism, as Taoism believes, but with faith in the divine and adherence, he can emerge as pure and enlightened, just like the lotus. Therefore, the Lotus was chosen to name the two new skills for the Taoist: Aurora Lotus and Flame Lotus. When performing Aurora Lotus or Flame Lotus skill, a magical lotus will appear on the ground. The skill will be completely activated and give a deadly strike or give a strong buff if other players can’t wipe out the lotus in time. The third new skill is Nature’s Touch, a passive skill which needs to be performed with an epic weapon.

EPIC WEAPON:
The Taoist will be the third class receiving an Epic Weapon, following the Trojan and Ninja. The Taoist will get a new significant one-handed weapon, which is carried only by a master: the Lash of Impending Fate. The original weapon, the Backsword, will be upgraded.

Webzen has just announced several new events for their classic MMORPG MU Online

.WHAT: Search for The Strongest Server of MU
DATES: March 16th – March 22nd, 2015 (UTC)
DETAILS: According to the previous survey results organised by the MU Online team from March the 11th to the 13th, players who correctly predict the winners of Battle Core Chaos Castle and Tormented Square will be able to receive special rewards such as 6 Master Scrolls (1 day) or Pet Demon (3 days) + 6 Master Scrolls (3 days).

WHAT: Saint Patrick’s Day Promotion ‘Over the Rainbow’
DATES: March 16th – March 22th, 2015 (UTC)
DETAILS: To celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day, the MU Online team allows players to buy Rainbow packs based on a story about a leprechaun, the famous Irish fairy, from March the 16th to the 22th (7days). A Rainbow pack will be available to purchase in 7 different colours in the game and web shop. Once players buy all seven different types of Rainbow packs, they will receive special rewards, including the 9th generation of Muun ‘Scolpy’ and ‘Chafer’.

WHAT: Catch The Easter Elf!

DETAILS: Easter is coming and besides the usual tradition of eating chocolate eggs, the MU Online team is organising a ‘Catch The Easter Elf’ event. During the Easter event period, the Game Master (GM)’s character ‘Easter Elf’ will appear in the PvP channel on the scheduled time, and the GM Elf will drop some special event equipment including socket items. More information on the Catch The Easter Elf event will be announced on the official MU ONLINE website soon.

Apparently visual accessories in Tree of Savior are not limited to headgears and costumes only. Recent finding shows that Armband will also affect the outlook of a character.

At the start of CBT1, it is specifically mentioned that Tree of Savior CBT1 participants will receive a special title and an armband. Back then no one knew what armbands were until the recent alchemist video

After TOSGame did a search in the items database in TOSWIKI, we realize that the armband (called Red Armband), weighs 10g, requires level 40 and all jobs can wear it. The best part however is that the armband comes with three sockets. Sockets can be used to add gems later in the game.
