Priests for healing, wizards for magical power, and fighters for brute strength are among the vast selection of crusaders for the player to take command of and slay enemies with.

Equip Weapons and Strengthen Heroes: Heroes can be strengthened by leveling up and being outfitted with gear. Crusaders Quest has hundreds of different weapons that crusaders can be equipped with to help them fight off evil forces.

PAX East 2015 Day 1 Recap – Trion Worlds, Dreadnought, Indie Games, and Cosplay!

PAX East 2015 Day 1 Recap

By Darren Henderson (DizzyPW)

and Jason Parker (Ragachak)

Day one at Pax East was a success! There was so much to see and do that it was virtual sensory overload. All of the companies I met with were amazing, and I saw some of the best and most creative cosplayers I think I’ve ever seen! There were so many incredible people that I met and hope to see again that I do not think it would do them justice to cram their names in in. Alas, I did not make it to the Behemoth Breakfast thanks to traffic (though we did get bagels!), and the Blizzard panel filled up immediately, everything else came up Milhouse. A full day of intense news coverage followed by a night of even more intense drinking and hobnobbing (and still surprisingly, news coverage!) But these are the definite highlights of Day One Press Coverage. The Trion titles were all varied and offered some very exciting content, plus I got to play Kitfox’s Moon Hunters for the first time! And also meeting the fantastic Nadyasonika, who is with the Witcher III folks. So go check them out!

Worlds Adrift

Worlds Adrift is an imaginative physics based MMORPG which seeks to revolutionize the MMORPG industry. Worlds Adrift focus upon a surreal game environment yet with highly realistic applications of physics. Grappling hooks, customizable wind-powered airships, beautiful scenery, pure awesomeness.

Features:

Physics, Physics, and more Physics: Realistic applications of physics is what defines Bossa Studios. Following the great success of its flagship titles ‘Surgeon Simulator’ and ‘I Am Bread’, Bossa Studios ventures into the multiplayer market with Worlds Adrift. Worlds Adrift invites players into the uncharted territory of realistic physic interactions in an MMORPG.

Mobility and Exploration: Mobility and exploration are two big cores of Worlds Adrift. Players, with their special rope devices, can freely swing from trees, other structures, and even flying ships.

Dynamic and Changing World: Worlds Adrift has also a ‘realistic’ touch to its game world. Not only does Worlds have an illustrated feel through soft dynamic lighting, players can also clearly witness the day/night cycle taking place. The game also play differently depending on the time of the day.

Crowfall

Crowfall is an upcoming PC MMORPG by ArtCraft Entertainment Inc. which includes exciting aspects like destructible environments and player managed worlds. Players become Crows, champions who traverse worlds to gain power and resources while managing their conquered lands. New experiences are plentiful in Crowfall with new encounters and ever-changing worlds for Crows to conquer. If you are looking for something along the lines of a “Throne War Simulator”, then your search may have just come to an end.

Features:

Different Worlds: In Crowfall there are two different kinds of worlds: Eternal Worlds, which last forever but don’t have any resources, and Campaign Worlds, which typically exist for 1 to 3 months and produce materials like stone, iron, and wood. Campaign Worlds are also dynamic in nature, cycling through Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter seasons. As the seasons change the Campaign World becomes more deadly and ultimately go offline at the end of Winter.

Player Managed Worlds: Eternal Worlds in Crowfall are fully controlled and managed by players! At their discretion players can manage their Kingdoms by creating provinces and granting them to other players. Kingdoms act as a player’s base of operations where they can rule however they wish.

Destructible Environments: Campaign Worlds are made entirely out of voxels, meaning that anything and everything can be destroyed within them! Players can lay waste to villages, forests, ruins, and much more, shaping the world to their hearts’ content.

Multi-Classing: When creating a character players must first choose their base archetype. Advantages and disadvantages are picked based on points. Points can be spent to gain advantages which will boost a character’s effectiveness in a particular area, while disadvantages, like “poor health”, can be selected which give the player points to spend elsewhere. From there the character can be promoted to a new class and take up to three different disciplines, like “Archery” or “Bounty Hunter”.
