Worlds of Magic PC Version Gone Gold and PS4 Version Announced
Exactly a month before the planned release date on PC Worlds of Magic – a 4X turn-based strategy game being the true spiritual successor of classic Master of Magic, has reached the Gold Master status on PC. That’s an excellent news for all fans of the game who will finally be able to purchase it’s final version on March 19th this year. But developers don’t forget about gamers owning PlayStation 4 console and confirming that the game will also be released on this platform in Q3 2015.
You can buy the PC version of the game now via Steam Early Access visiting Worlds of Magic product page HERE or you can also support developers directly and buy the game from their store HERE.
Worlds of Magic will be the first 4X game ever released on PlayStation 4 console and developers confirm that there will be no changes in content or features comparing this version to the PC one. The PS4 version will be released by a Polish publisher Teyon.
Teyon is a successful developer and publisher of interactive entertainment for all leading platforms. Established in 2006 in Poland, the company is focused on the development of high-quality video games and software. Teyon has offices in Krakow, Lodz (Poland) and Tokyo (Japan) which together employ over 70 people to create and launch titles worldwide.
“Up until now our company has been focused on the publishing and development of Premium games for Nintendo platforms. We are very happy to announce that Worlds of Magic will be our first release on PlayStation 4. The game is spectacular and fits the console perfectly,” said Michał Tatka, Teyon S. A. CEO.
Worlds of Magic, unlike many other games out there, has not only went through Kickstarter campaign successfully and launched on Steam Early Access, but will also be published across platforms. The game, as a true spiritual successor of the classic Master of Magic, gets back to basics of the 4X genre allowing gamers to EXPLORE uniquely generated universes, EXPAND their empire by building armies, recruiting mercenaries, and founding or capturing cities, EXPLOIT resources and factions alike to increase their own power and finally EXTERMINATE their enemies using the tools of war, magical spells and diplomacy. The more important it is for Wastelands Interactive developers that thanks to the cooperation with Teyon they will now be able to bring this classic in style game to PS4 platform.
“We’re really happy that we’ve managed to partner up with Teyon to bring Worlds of Magic to PlayStation 4 platform. We believe that we have a true 4X gem in our hands. And we are convinced that having such an experienced business partner is a guarantee that Worlds of Magic PS4 launch will be a success,” said Leszek Lisowski, Wastelands Interactive Founder.

Medieval Engineers Released on Steam Early Access
Independent developer Keen Software House today announced the release of Medieval Engineers on Steam Early Access. After the successful launch of Space Engineers, the first engineering game by Keen Software House, the studio is continuing the tradition of Early Access titles and is inviting all players to actively join the game’s development by providing their valuable feedback and suggestions. Everyone who decides to buy the game now will be able to play it on Steam and receive all future updates for free.
Medieval Engineers is a sandbox game about engineering, construction and the maintenance of architectural works and mechanical equipment using medieval technology. Players build cities, castles and fortifications; construct mechanical devices and engines; and perform landscaping and underground mining. The game is inspired by real medieval technology and the way people built architectural and mechanical works in medieval times. Medieval Engineers strives to follow the laws of physics and real history and doesn’t use technologies that were not available between the 5th to 15th centuries.
The initial release on Early Access focuses on core mechanics: building in creative mode, physics simulations, destruction, structural integrity, Steam Workshop integration and modding support (API and art assets). The game will remain under development and will be improved on a regular basis through updates that add and polish features and content, optimizations and bug fixes. More information and a list of the current features can be found here.
“We are inviting everyone to join Medieval Engineers on Early Access and help us create the game that you have always been dreaming of!” said Marek Rosa, CEO and founder of Keen Software House. “Last week we decided to open a 24-hour pre-launch window so players could buy Medieval Engineers and get their hands-on the game even before its official launch on Steam. This led to an explosion of creations and engineering designs. We are amazed by what players have already created in just one week! So far we have seen amazing medieval castles, palaces, beautiful houses and whole villages, a multi-point crane with lift, a catapult for three projectiles, cable car and monorail, battering ram, rope suspension bridge, gates, trucks and even a medieval robot – all made out of the building blocks available in the game”.
The developers are also offering a number of special promotions to invite players to join them on launch. A 25% discount will be available to all owners of Space Engineers during the two first weeks. Additionally, Steam will hold a Free Weekend for Space Engineers with a 40% discount.
Medieval Engineers is available for purchase on the developer’s web site, on Steam and at several other distribution services.

Hero Sky Takes Flight as Mobile RTS/RPG
Mobile game developer Innospark is proud to unveil its newest strategy game, Hero Sky. This action-packed new combat strategy game for iOS and Android devices pits armies of divine heroes wielding godlike powers against the forces of evil – and the forces of other players – and will launch in March. To kick off the game’s reveal, the studio also released a new trailer for the game today.
Hero Sky: Epic Guild Wars™ transports players to a breathtaking world in the clouds, where battle for the throne with the help of epic time-traveling Hero characters. These Heroes are available at the very beginning of the game, and can be developed and customized with new skills and abilities as they progress – adding a prominent role-playing game (RPG) element to the Hero Sky’s in-depth base-building and combat strategy.
In Hero Sky, players can summon more than 100 legendary Heroes to add to their collection and fight for their cause, along with unique tactics and units like the Trojan Horse, which lets players ferry a battalion of troops directly behind enemy lines. The game also will offer in-depth cooperative social features with its in-game Guild system, which lets players donate troops, and even pool combat powers together. Players can play online in a variety of modes, such as the instant-action mode Quick Battle, as well as the more-challenging Fever Mode, which players can unlock after going on a winning streak of battles. In addition, the game will offer upgradeable buildings and in-depth customization options to let players build the flying fortress of their dreams.
Hero Sky is currently in development at Innospark, an independent developer based in South Korea. The studio includes veteran developers who created the smash-hit game Rule the Sky, and is now looking to make a name for itself in the global market. Hero Sky is scheduled for release in March for both iOS and Android.

Tribal Wars 2 Introduces Resource Deposits
InnoGames has introduced the new resource deposits feature into the popular MMORTS Tribal Wars 2.
In these deposits, players have to run errands in order to receive additional resources. They can choose from six errands which differ in their quality and are modified every six hours. Completed errands are rewarded with additional iron, clay or wood.
Players can reach milestones for 250, 2,000 and 10,000 collected resources. Every accomplished milestone will give them an additional, valuable reward. Those can be military units like swordsmen, archers or light cavalry. But if they are lucky, the rewards can also be strong resource boosts or even a grandmaster, who can boost an entire attack by ten percent. Therefore, active players have good chances to accelerate the growth of their medieval empire.
