Rocket League Hits Xbox one on February 18th

Independent video game developer and publisher, Psyonix, is pleased to announce that the sports-action hit, Rocket League, will be available for digital download on Xbox One today via the ID@Xbox self-publishing program Wednesday, February 17 for $19.99 USD (or regional equivalent).

H1Z1 Splitting into Two Games

Daybreak Games announced this past weekend that it will be splitting H1Z1 into two separate games.

Stating that the decision was made to support both the Survival and Battle Royale aspects of the game, Daybreak confirmed that H1Z1 will become two titles as of February 17, 2016. H1Z1: Just Survive will focus on the open-world zombie survival experience, while H1Z1: King of the Kill (KotK) will focus on Battle Royale and other fight-to-the-death game modes. King of the Kill will be brought out of Early Access this summer.

Daybreak also confirmed in its announcement FAQ that it has no plans to make either H1Z1 a free-to-play title.

To Redeem your Key:

  • Install Neverwinter from the Xbox One marketplace here.
  • Upon launching Neverwinter, you’ll have the option to link your gamertag with an Arc account. This will open the Internet browser on your Xbox One and you can complete the account linking process there. If you skip it now, you’ll have another opportunity later.
  • Once you’re in Neverwinter, select the Arc option.
  • Install Arc. (You can also search for Arc in the Xbox One Marketplace)
  • Launch Arc and hit the X button.
  • Enter your code in the field and select “Redeem.”
  • Head back to Neverwinter and find the Reward Claims Agent in Protector’s Enclave to pick up your prize!

Blade & Soul Rising Waters Launches February 10 header

Blade & Soul will launch its next major update, “Rising Waters,” tomorrow, Wednesday February 10, 2016.

Rising Waters will bring Bloodshade Harbor, an instance for 4-player and 6-player parties; Nightshade Harbor, a 24-player raid; and the first seven levels of Mushin’s Tower, a single player Heroic Dungeon.

The update will also add Hongmoon levels, and marks the start of the preseason for the first PvP Season.

In addition to opening name registration today, Black Desert Online revealed new details for its upcoming second closed beta.

The list of changes made since the first closed beta includes:

  • All-new Karma system, which balances player kills and death penalties
  • Addition of voiceovers
  • French and German localization
  • Addition of tutorial videos
  • Adjustments to experience gain
  • Maximum player level of 55
  • Improved user interface

The second Black Desert closed beta begins on February 18.
