League of Legends Reveals Taliyah

League of Legends Reveals Taliyah

Today, League of Legends has revealed its newest champion: Taliyah, the Stoneweaver.

Taliyah is a control mage, designed to trap her lane opponents using the earth from the lanes itself. She can also surf across to a side lane with her passive, push waves with powerful AOE attacks, and roam with building movement speed before dropping into another fight.

Here’s Tailyah’s kit. Learn more about her tactics and design in the official reveal page.

Passive: Rock Surfing

When out of combat, Taliyah builds movement speed whenever traveling near walls.

Q: Threaded Volley
Passive: Taliyah gains increased movement speed when traversing worked ground.
Active: Taliyah rips up the ground around her, firing a volley of five stone shards in a target direction while moving freely. Casting Threaded Volley converts the area into worked ground for a few minutes. Additional Threaded Volley casts over worked ground will yield just one rock projectile.

W: Seismic Shove

Taliyah marks a target location. After a brief delay, the ground erupts, knocking up and damaging all enemies caught in the blast zone. Taliyah can recast Seismic Shove before it erupts to throw the victims in any targeted direction—even over walls.

E: Unraveled Earth

Taliyah scatters boulders onto the ground before her. Opponents who dash through the fractured earth take damage from an explosion. After a few seconds, any remaining rocks in the field erupt, dealing a second wave of damage.

R: Weaver’s Wall

Taliyah briefly channels before summoning a massive wall of spiraling rock that tears through the Rift in a target direction. Taliyah can reactivate Weaver’s Wall while channeling to ride atop the wall as it emerges. Taking damage or inputting a move command in any direction will cut her ride short.

Blood Bowl 2 Norse Team Arrives

Blood Bowl 2 Norse Team Arrives

Blood Bowl 2, the sequel to the video game adaptation of Games Workshop’s famous board game that combines American football with the fantasy world of Warhammer, welcomes a new race on its pitch: The Norse. The team is included in the Norse DLC available today on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

To respect the PC players of the first Blood Bowl game, which accumulated 23 races through 3 paying editions (to plenty of frustration), the development team decided to create the FOUNDERS INCENTIVE for PC players of Blood Bowl 2: players will receive the Norse, the Undead, the Necromantic and the Nurgle teams for free, as long as they purchased the game before the races release.

The Norse Team

Hailing from a far north peninsula of the Old World, Norsca, the Norse are fearsome warriors who naturally benefit from the Block skill – making a Norse line one of the more resilient Blood Bowl defensive walls. Norse players also have low Armour value, meaning they’re built for dishing out damage, not taking it. We’re excited to see how new Norse Coaches plan around the team’s weaknesses and exploit their strengths.

The Norse DLC pack includes new types of players, including the Ulfwerener. These werewolves encourage damage-dealing plays with their high Strength and their brutal Frenzy skill. The Norse Big Guy is the Yhetee, a vicious Snow Troll with Claws built for shredding high armoured players. Finally, two Star Players are joining the Norse: Icepelt Hammerblow, Yhetee, and Wilhelm Chaney, Ulfwerener.

Chronicles of Elyria Combat Video

Chronicles of Elyria showcases its complex combat system, which uses chain combat techniques, disarming, and more, by recreating a scene from The Princess Bride.

Chronicles of Elyria’s combat mechanics do not rely on auto-attacks or hot-bar buttons. Instead, CoE uses Left & Right mouse buttons to chain combat techniques together into combos.

These combos are configurable in the UI, allowing players to develop their own personal combat style using different techniques for each weapon they use.

As well, different stances allow them to attack from different locations and attack with different types of damage – piercing, blunt, & slashing. The master martial artist can chain stance attacks together and even learn to apply the styles of one weapon to another.

So combat in Chronicles of Elyria is based on Perception, Reflex, and Anticipation. Can you recognize the best techniques to use for the terrain and the opponent’s armor? Can you dodge and deflect fast enough to avoid attacks. And finally, can you anticipate your opponents attack in order to parry and take the initiative.

Other mechanics shown in the video is the ability to disarm, and some of our platformer elements, such as jumping and swinging.

Not shown in the video is the ability to switch hands in order to throw of your opponent and force them to deflect/parry the wrong side of their body.

Spellbinders

Spellbinders is a free to play mobile MOBA developed by Kiloo for iOS and Android where players can become a Spellbinder, a commander of the battlefield who can summon units, cast spells, and call upon Titans to fight for them. You will need to manage three separate lanes, using your units to push your enemies back and destroy their base. With a good strategy and the strength of your Titans beside you, nobody will be able to stand in your way of becoming the best Spellbinder ever!

Features:

Spellbinder Upgrades: Upgrade your Spellbinder with coins you earn from winning matches, increasing your overall health or mana.

Spellbinder Skills: You can unlock more Spellbinders as you play, each of which has their own unique units and skills to use in battles.

Capture Canons: Every lane has a canon in the middle of it that can be captured and used to whittle away at your enemy’s health. If you manage to capture all of them and hold them for a short time, they will unleash a combined burst shot that deals even more damage to your foe.
