Waylanders Pre-Alpha Gameplay Sneak Peek

The Waylanders is an RPG aiming to come to Windows PC in Q1 2020 and is coming from Gato Salvaje Studio. The Waylanders is being designed by Mike Laidlaw (Bioware – Dragon Age: Origins, Jade Empire, Mass Effect) in the role of a Narrative and Creative Consultant. Inspired by classics such as Dragon Age: Origins, Neverwinter Nights 2, and perhaps even The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, it’s a party-based RPG and set in the Celtic/Medieval eras.

What makes this interesting is that it can be played in an isometric view, or shifted to a third-person perspective and features 36 character classes based on six basic classes and 30 more advanced ones. Its most innovative offering is the introduction of formations whereby characters will combine into offensive formations allowing for deep combat tactics and enabling players to play the game their own way
