Super Crush KO Reveals New Trailer at E3 2019

Graceful Explosion Machine creators Vertex Pop released a new trailer for their upcoming hybrid run ‘n’ beat ’em up, Super Crush KO. Being shown off at E3 right now, players control Karen, a tough but fashionable brawler, in a colorful world that has been overrun by robot enemies. Karen destroys them with punches, kicks, and awesome long-range combat in fluid combos. She has to save her cat Chubbz (and humanity, we guess).

The trailer demonstrates special ground and aerial moves that players can obtain by visiting various food carts across the city. A pizza slice gives them the “Uppercut Slice”, a salty pretzel grants the “Twister Drill,” while salty sweet popcorn awards players with the “Air Pop” maneuver. Super Crush KO offers exhilarating fast-paced shoot-and-beat-em-up action, where players mix different moves into various easy-to-execute combos to launch waves of robots into the sky, juggle them and smash them into pieces. Super Crush KO will be heading to the Nintendo Switch in 2020.

Volta-X Announced for Nintendo Switch from GungHo Online

Volta-X

GungHo Online Entertainment revealed that Volta-X is a new game they’re working on to head to the Nintendo Switch. An ode to the classic robot anime of the 70s, players will build their own custom bots and battle it out with their friends to see who is the best. Volta-X will feature PVP battles, and give players access to each robot’s resource management, offering a fully controlled experience. Whether you use lasers, chain maces, or rocket launchers, there will be plenty of options to dole out destruction.

Players will take part in the Robot League, a tournament where players compete with their robots in awesome battles to become champions! Taking control of the crew, players will send them from room to room to power up weapons, put out fires, and repair broken equipment.

Rogue Heist Announces Pre-Orders And Weekend Closed Beta

Lifelike Studios are eager to let people try out their upcoming 6v6 team-based shooter (third-person), Rogue Heist. Pre-Orders have begun on their website, which will grant access to the closed beta tests, along with other goodies. The first closed beta test will be starting this Friday (June 14th, 2019) through Monday (June 17th, 2019) at the following specific times, to test the servers:

  • 12 PM ET to 2 PM ET
  • 9 AM PT to 11 AM PT
  • 4 PM to 6 PM UK
  • 12 am JST to 2 am JST

Players will join crews of six players to hack into an ambushed convoy’s safe, to loot as many valuables as possible, while defending your stolen treasure from the other team. That’s the premise of the main mode, Heist Mode. Rogue Heist players can choose from roles that include Sniper, Assault, Support and Hacker. Each role is crucial in snagging as much loot as possible and protecting it from the enemy crew that is seeking to do the same. The choice is yours: Attack, defend, loot, or spot. Strategic thieves will prosper, while those who just run and gun might fall to craftier foes. More information on the pre-order editions can be found in the link above.
