Solo Sails onto Consoles This Summer

Solo Heads to Console in the Summer

Solo is a pretty fascinating title that’s on the way to Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4 and the Xbox One this summer, from Team Gotham and Merge Games. Solo is about love, as a force that fuels and drives us. Love is a feeling that is universal, but we all experience it differently, and that is what makes Solo special. Solo explores this theme in an introspective way, to have players identify and reflect on their own experiences. Solo is an upcoming contemplative puzzle game set on a surreal, gorgeous archipelago, where players reflect on loving relationships through a series of dream-like islands. Players will combine blocks with a variety of properties, each offering multiple solutions for a host of puzzles, and explore a living world.

The world is divided into archipelagos, and each archipelago is formed by small islands. Each island represents a unique puzzle the sailor will have to solve before getting to the Sleeping Totems and awakening them to answer a question about love and relationships. Using boxes, each with different properties and behaviors, the sailors can build their own paths to the Sleeping Totems on each island. This game will arrive on July 31st for Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch’s edition hits on August 1st. The Playstation 4 has no release date, but it will be “very soon”, and all are priced at 19.99.
