Final Fantasy VII REMAKE – Battle Teaser

Today, Square-Enix released some new footage for the upcoming Final Fantasy VII REMAKE, showing the battle system in greater detail.
Star Control: Origins – Earth Rising Expansion Part 3 Releases
Star Control: Origins releases Part 3 of the “Earth Rising” expansion today, and humanity’s alliance continues to fray and grow weaker. Their plans for galactic expansion are also waylaid, when they suddenly face a new threat. Two warring factions come in this expansion: The Liberators and the Syndicate. Both want the assistance of humanity, and won’t tolerate aid to their rival. This third part, titled The Syndicate is the third of four parts to the expansion and will add plenty of new aliens, ships, adventures, and destinations to the already rich Star Control universe. This will also not require players to have completed the main story arc.
3000th Duel Now Available on Steam
3000th Duel is a new game from Neopopcorn Corp, where players tackle dark platforming action for fans of Metroidvanias and dark fantasy classics such as The Nightmare Before Christmas. This side-scroller has players controlling a mysterious masked hero who has lost his memory. Using powerful attacks, he’ll travel a variety of biomes and fight mighty enemies. The game is now available in Early Access and estimates two months of time in the Early Access system on Steam. The final version will have improved/fine-tuned gameplay, better UI, graphics, and sound.
Autonauts Launches in October for PC
The unique AI-coding management sim, Autonauts has officially confirmed its October 17th release for PC via Steam. Players will set up step-by-step instructions for their workbots, whether its to cook, farm, mine, or construct buildings.
As long as the worker bots have enough memory to store the routine they’ll carry out their role diligently until it is complete or they run out of power – only requiring a quick wind up by the player or other robots to get back online. Combining the best features of agriculture, simulation, crafting, and production-line games, it aims to be accommodating to players regardless of age or skill level.
Autonauts Features:

Teach your workerbots requisite steps to complete tasks by asking them to repeat actions utilizing a visual programming language. Designed to be easy-to-learn but with added complexity, there are numerous possibilities.

Broomstick League Announced by Blue Isle Studios
Blue Isle Studios, in partnership with Virtual Basement, announced a competitive sports game today, Broomstick League, coming soon to Steam’s Early Access program. In Broomstick League, players take to the sky to compete against other would-be wizards from around the world in a fast-paced, high flying, trick shot scoring, all-out battle for supremacy of the skies. A hands-on version will be available at TwitchCon, September 27th-29th.
Players will divide into teams and zoom across arenas on their broomsticks, to grab a magical orb. The goal is to outmaneuver the other players and score. Using their broomstick and wand, players will hone their skills and use magic to dodge, defend, and make incredible plays.
Broomstick League Features:
- Fast-Paced Matches: Play 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 or 4v4 with friends or matchmake online with opponents from around the world. Form magical teams to see who will dominate the flying arena!

Solasta: Crown of the Magister Will Use D&D 5.1 Content and Rules
Tactical Adventures dropped a bombshell today, and that’s that they will use Dungeons & Dragons SRD 5.1 Content and Rules for Solasta: Crown of the Magister. The game features a free demo now, and is over 95% funded on Kickstarter. Picking up the license from Wizards of the Coast is a huge step for the game, and being able to use established Dungeons & Dragons rules is a huge deal for Tactical Adventures.
Eidolons Netherflame Beta is on IndieGoGo for All Backers
Eidolons Netherflame is an upcoming Souls-like game, set in a turn-based environment, and its demo is on IndieGoGo. All backers can now give this demo a spin, offering something new to the turn-based setting. This dark tactical roguelike has players controlling a ruthless mage lord. Being hunted for his betrayal, he schemes and receives a vision of his death and rebirth, and his ascension to godhood.
On a quest for ultimate power, a dark, beautiful realm awaits, and Eidolons itself was inspired by Planescape: Torment, and other cult classics, such as Disciples II, Dark Souls, and Darkest Dungeon. Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid Launches on PC
Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid released some major news today: The PC version of the game went live, and Season 2 of the game’s content also began. The new characters are Anubis “Doggie” Cruger, Eric Myers, and Dai Shi. A new Arena also shows up in the form of Space Patrol Delta Base, and a new Ultra appears, with Delta Squad’s Megazord.
Tommy Oliver gets a new skin, with the White Ranger skin as well. Season 2 debuts on Xbox One and PC today, and the Playstation 4 version will arrive on September 25th. The Switch Edition will begin on September 27th. PC fans can get in on the action today as well, for 19.99 USD on Steam.
