Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered – Launch Trailer

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered is coming to the Playstation 4 and Steam on September 20th, 2019. An already gorgeous, original RPG concept comes to life again! Created by the legendary Studio Ghibli, and composed by Joe Hisaishi, it’s a must-play. The original version of the game will also be available on the same day, for the Nintendo Switch.

Wheel of Fate Begins Kickstarter Funding Today

UDX Interactive’s upcoming project, Wheel of Fate officially starts its Kickstarter today. The highly-anticipated AI-based RPG has a goal of 25,000 CAD / 18,967 USD to develop the game. The game uses AI through the wheel, and when spun, the outcome of actions and the story itself can change.

A full list of Kickstarter backer rewards can be found on the page’s “Rewards” section, which range from a copy of the game at launch to merchandised products to a studio visit with the team. A link to the Kickstarter can be found here.

Daniel Vivona, CEO and co-founder of UDX Interactive discussed the project:

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 Reveals New Dream Events

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 revealed three new Dream Events today, which are intense, fast-paced experiences with your favorite characters. These offer plenty of fun that you won’t find anywhere else, when the game launches on November 5th. Here’s a preview of each of these modes.

Dream Shooting: Aim and take fire at a range of targets placed all around a traditional Japanese manor in this competitive score-based event! At different intervals during the match, flying kites will appear, which players can target for bonus points.

Dream Karate: Fight to light up the most blank spaces featured on the floor to expand your territory, combining the lightning-fast action of Karate with free-for-all gameplay! Every space where an enemy falls by your hand will light up. The player or team that lights up the most spaces at the end of the round is the victor. It’s chaos, fun-filled chaos!

Dream Racing: Hop on a hoverboard and zoom through a downhill course filled with question-mark power-ups and challenging obstacles, performing sweet tricks to earn a speed boost and gain the lead. The first one to the bottom wins!

 

Horace Receives New Game Modes in Update

Horace is an indie title from a two-man development team (Paul Helman, Sean Scaplehorn), and it receives a massive new update today. With this update, there are new features, game modes, and in-game items. This update is free and has plenty to offer. “The Time Machine” lets players revisit old boss fights, completed during normal gameplay. By doing this, players can unlock in-game movies and music tracks for the Cinema and Gramophone.

Located at the top of the players’ mansion, the new “Cinema” will allow players to re-watch their favorite cutscenes from the game. Cutscenes are unlocked through normal gameplay, by beating boss challenges in The Time Machine or by picking up a Bad RAM item from the game. “The Gramophone” is unlocked within the Cinema, and players can listen to tracks featured in the game. Finally, there is the “Arcade Game Cheats” feature, where players can add extra lives and give themselves added time bonuses during Horace’s mini arcade games by purchases the BASIC Floppy Disk from the in-game shop.

Killsquad Begins New Video Series, ‘Gathering of Bounty Hunters’

Novarama has released the first of a community-driven initiative video series today for Killsquad, “Gathering of Bounty Hunters”. In this, the team will answer community questions in a more direct fashion. This is planned presently as a monthly occurrence,

Killsquad players are encouraged to join the event during the Gathering phase, voicing concerns and offering new ideas on the Steam post comment section, where Novarama then can collect information and address everything in video format.  The idea is that they can work together to make Killsquad as great as it possibly can be.
