Deck of Ashes Pyromancer

Forged in flame, and a bearer of powerful hellfire, Lucia is the name of the Pyromancer in the upcoming deckbuilder, Deck of Ashes. It’s on the way to Steam’s Early Access in April. AY Games introduce Lucia to the world today and is one of the playable characters in the upcoming game. Burned alive for unintentionally helping release the horrific “Ash Curse” on the world, Lucia rose like the legendary Phoenix, becoming one with the flame, but eternally tormented by it at the same time. Lucia, as the Pyromancer, seeks to regain her once peaceful life – and will scorch anything and anyone who stands in her way.

The Pyromancer is a playable character in Deck of Ashes, and she brings with her three core abilities –

  • Feel the Burn: Set your enemies on fire and watch them wither to ash
  • Strength Comes From Pain: Trade some of your own health to accelerate the incineration of your foes
  • The Ultimate Sacrifice: Set your precious cards and deck on fire to obtain obscenely powerful effects

Galactic Civilizations III’s ‘Retribution’ Expansion Releases Today

Stardock released a new expansion to Galactic Civilizations III today, entitled Retribution. In this expansion, your civilization has uncovered powerful artifacts and discovered the technology to create hypergates. If that weren’t enough, there are two new major civilizations to deal with, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. This expansion retails for 19.99 on Steam or on the Stardock website. For a limited time, players can also purchase this expansion for 10% off, and the base game (which includes the Crusade expansion and Mega Events DLC for free) for 70% off.

BATALJ Brings Squad vs. Squad Combat to PC Today

Fall Damage Studio brought to life their Action Strategy title BATALJ today on PC. Players will need both quick decision making and cunning tactics to defeat other players squads, as they do battle in simultaneous-turn-based action. This offers little in the way of downtime, as players pick from 9 heroes and 54 units to form up their squads.

Squads can be formed from three factions – The nomadic Rusters, , the machine-integrated Re-Linked, or the genetically enhanced Splicers. Each has their own offensive and defensive capabilities in combat. It is now available on Steam for at a discount (19.99, normally 24.99).

Super Dragon Ball Heroes World Mission to Launch with Hero Edition

Dragon Ball fans who also love card games can rejoice, because Super Dragon Ball Heroes World Mission is coming to America on April 5th, 2019. Found exclusively on the Nintendo Switch, it will also offer a limited “Hero Edition” at launch. This edition will be packaged with five exclusive physical Dragon Ball Super card game cards, which are only found in this Hero Edition. It also comes with 11 early-unlock digital character cards for players to take immediately into battle. This latest trailer also shows off the card-creation mechanics in Super Dragon Ball Heroes World Mission.
