Dead End Job Launches this December

Headup has a new game in the works, and it’s a stylistic mashup of Ren & Stimpy and Ghostbusters. In it, you control a salary specter, Hector Plasm. They are employed by the Number One Experts in Paranormal Pest Control, Ghoul-B-Gone. Hector has to get rid of annoying spectral entities, in this ghost-busting adventure. Today’s trailer shows off the gameplay you can expect in Dead End Job. It goes live on December 13th, 2019 for PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. It’s a Friday too, so it’s terribly appropriate.

Groove to the beats of award-winning composer Wil Morton (of Grand Theft Auto fame), and also will feature full Twitch and Mixer integration, to let your viewers help you demolish demonic denizens, or hinder your efforts as they see fit. Dead End Job will also have seamless drop-in/out split-screen couch co-op action as well.

Escape from Tarkov Beta 0.12 Patch Trailer

The next update coming to Escape from Tarkov is going to be Patch0.12 in their beta testing phase. A new location will be available, as will Hideout Management. New weapons, gear, bosses, and character clothing options will be available as this survival shooter continues to grow.

Escape From Tarkov’s 0.12 patch is the biggest one for the game yet. They’ll be using a new version of Unity, first off (Unity 2018.4), and with that came a host of bug fixes and stability improvements. There are new third-person animations, and full-screen anti-aliasing TAA was added. A new feature will be the Hideout, which is a special game location, where the player is safe after raids to rest, recoup, and take care of their wounds.

The regeneration rate will be directly related to the internal management of the Hideout: the construction and improvement of various zones, the creation and use of consumables for everyday life. Here, the player can increase the size of his stash, create first-aid kits and cartridges, as well as organize a full-fledged shooting gallery for training, use food, water, and medicine, build a bitcoin farm and much more. The functionality of the hideout will be supplemented and improved over time.

There’s also a pair of new locations, “Reserve” and “Woods”. The “Reserve” is a secret military base of RosReserv, which was once a long-term supply of provisions, medicine, and resources (or so the legends say), in the event of nuclear war. It’s near the Factory, and is the largest location in the game, in terms of the explorable area.

In the area of the sawmill on “Woods” players will now be able to measure strength with the Shturman. This scav boss, alike his few guards adheres to secretive combat tactics, attacking from well-disguised shelters and using weapons with optics. He has the key to the “common fund stash” with him, so a victory over him is not only honorable but also very profitable.

Along with new equipment, barter items, ammunition, and over 160 weapon parts and modules, the T-7 thermal imaging glasses and new weapons were added to the game, including the AsH-12, FN P90, M9A3, FN Five-Seven, and TX-15.
