The Wanderer: Frankenstein’s Creature Coming on Halloween for PC
ARTE and La Belle Games reveal the release date for their story-driven adventure game, The Wanderer: Frankenstein’s Creature, and it’s Halloween! That’s right, the game hitsWindows PC and Mac on October 31st, and will come to mobile platforms in November. Nintendo Switch users can expect it in Q1 2020.
The Wanderer goes back to the roots of the legendary novel by Mary Shelley, Frankenstein, and has players discovering a being quite a bit different from the original pop-culture icon. The creature is born neither good nor evil and will travel through Europe to find its origins, and learn about humanity. It aims at being emotional and challenging for the creature and the player as beauty and kindness are often followed by darkness, fear, and hate. The landscape and soundtrack will evolve based on decisions made by the player, and the handcrafted watercolor environments (three years in the making) are absolutely gorgeous.
Cédric Bache, Producer at La Belle Games had this to say:
“We wanted to bring the iconic scenes of the novel to life in The Wanderer: Frankenstein’s Creature, seeing every level as an evolving painting inspired by the romantic era. The book isn’t about the monster that we know from popular culture, but about what it means to be human. When a child’s soul is part of an adult body, and that child doesn’t understand the way the world works.”

Legend of Keepers: Prologue Available on Steam
Legend of Keepers is an upcoming title on Steam, and to celebrate 50K Wishlists, they have launched a free playable alpha demo: Legend of Keepers: Prologue. This tactical dungeon defender has players controlling the bad guys. You are the CEO of a dungeon, and must keep those damn heroes out at all costs.
The prologue features about two hours of gameplay and teaches the game’s mechanics, lore building, and overall strategy. As weeks are passing by, you will have different tasks available to improve your defenses. When adventurers will come, take control of your workforce to kill those unfortunate souls or scare them to death.
What to do in Legend of Keepers:
Manage: hire and train employees, buy and upgrade traps… Just run the business to ensure your dungeons are always well defended and you don’t fall short in money.
Plan the defense: when adventurers show at your door, it’s time to place your monsters and traps in the most efficient way. Study your enemies and counter them with your best strategy.
Go tactical: in battle, choose your actions carefully. Which enemy should you strike first? Should you go for the kill or just scare them to death? Debuff them or buff your guys? It’s up to you to find the best synergies!
Regroup and organize: if you managed to survive, let’s go back to daily work and face events, management choices and team building for your employees. That’s all it takes to prepare for the next wave of annoyingly lawful adventurers!
Compete: it’s a roguelite, so how many weeks will you resist in the ruthless business of dungeon mastering? Share your score and try to do better than other masters!

Bowlcut Studios is available now on Xbox One and will be exiting Steam’s Early Access soon. In MageQuit, up to ten players (local or online) duke it out across nine rounds of combat.
