  1. Well, I procrastinated up till...now! I really need to work on it, or I'll be pulling an all-nighter on Tuesday. xD

Yup, that's it. I knew it started with "Jor" something, but quite frankly, Thor, Odin, Fenrir, and LOKI are the ones you should be remembering. I don't care if Loki said it out of spite, I still think Freya was a ***** (proven since she slept with dwarfs for a NECKLACE; that necklace may have been made out of GOLD, so she could also be thought of as a prostitute :o). And Loki is the God of Trickery, the main person who causes Ragnorak with his children, Fenrir, Jormungard, and Hel, the ruleress of the underworld. How could you NOT know him? :o

I made a snow angel... *.* ...but the jerks who shovel the sidewalks (since I live in an apartment, people other than us do that) covered it up.
  2. They just drain you from everything before letting you go, don't they? At least I felt like that whenever I finally got to the winter break (let alone any other break).

Haha! I can shine through my ignorance of Norse mythology: It's Jormungard! .. Maybe. That serpent thingy. I mean, I know maybe 3 or 4 of the names you listed: Thor, Odin, Freya and Fenrir. Sure I've heard some bits and pieces from some of the other characters but that's about it.

Feels awesome doesn't it? Makes you wanna quit everything and jump into the snow, then rush back and get a cold.
  3. Thanks! I'm back, but I'll really be back once Winter Break starts.
I still haven't worked on my Term Paper, which is due four days from now. xD

Yup, it's the Norse myth. You know, Loki, Thor, Odin, Idun, and all the other minor characters that don't really matter as much, such as Balder, Bragi, Frey, Freya, Heimdall, etc. Then there are the animals, Fenrir, the-serpent-that-surrounds-the-world-with-a-name-too-hard-to-remember-off-the-top-of-my-head, etc.
    Go Vikings.

By the way, I got snow todaaaaayyyyyy!!!
  4. Welcome back lokuri ^^, had a rough week?

Btw now I finally now from which mythology the Ragnarok comes from, thank you for that. I was just too lazy to look it up on Wikipedia or such
  5. Yeah, I am writing a story version of the Norse Gods filled with research in between the text. It will be--is about the Norse Gods reincarnated as humans (demi-Gods, I guess) in disguise, with no memory of their past selves up until the end. The tale will play on the Greek belief of a tragic hero, where the reincarnated forms of the Norse Gods will slowly gain their designated God's (or Goddess's) attributes and fall from a heroic state. Each of them will be friends at first, but just like in the Norse mythology, they will divide on different sides and kill each other during Ragnorak.
  6. Heard you were talking/writing about a project of some sort. Gotta love 'em, eh? The pressure, the stress, the fear of getting embarrassed, it's all so joyful. Thank god that's over.. NOT! Geez >_>
  7. *Continued...

In the past, teachers could have thrown stuff at them or slam books on their desks, but stuff like that is thought of as abuse now. In high school, you have teachers like my English (also does Drama Club, Play, and Drama Through Literature) teacher, who can blow your ear drums with her "Play/Stage" voice. xD That, or throw them in ISD (In School Detention) or other, but...it doesn't work that well. xD You can threaten them with lots of homework/paper work (class work) until they get tired of it and are forced to behave, but...that doesn't work much either, if they aren't **** about grades...like me...
  8. Well, you can't declare yourself "young" among youngsters; you are only young among adults, which isn't much fun. Also, once you are over 20, it is just not cool to see you trying to be friends with a bunch of kids. xD You're an adult, young or not, and the only way you can claim to be remotely like a child is by looking like one (like me; I keep getting confused as a 10 grader or some other grade other than Senior around those that do not know me much).

Are you talking about your character in The Plague? xD

A bird one time crashed into our balcony window until it died. Um, but...I dunno. Perhaps it was with rocks...

    *To be continued...
  9. It's amazing really that I'm almost always the oldest one in the group, is it that awful to be older than 20? . Just saying because I almost always see the ages between 13-19 years, and there's only one or two who are older or younger than that.

About the "maybe", if ONLY I knew. He can be so confusing at times. It usually ends up in him making fun of himself though

Geez, bust windows? With rocks or something? One guy threw a raw egg in my window.. , it was just for once. I wonder if he got some weird kicks out of that.

It's really annoying since teachers can't do much. Students bad-mouth them and what can they do? In elementary they can put the pupils into detention but what about in high school? Nothing really, at least I can't think of anything.
  10. Yeah, you did sound pretty old. xD

I figured you were in your early 20's. All your characters mostly range around that area of age, making you the only adult among kids. xD

What's wrong with the word "maybe"? xD I say "um" a lot, or "like".

Ah, yes. Kids these days are soooo disrespectful. Instead of hearing cute little kids playing nicely in the area around my apartment, I have to listen to loud, annoying children who sometimes likes to bust windows (the window in the kitchen...or was it my window?...and at our local laundry...place xD ).

They are the beginning of what teachers have to deal with in high school. This poor teacher who seemed to be new was walked over by some disrespectful teens who basically bad-mouthed her, and the most she did was tell them to stop. I felt sorry for her.
