Ah, I also like how Eer (nickname?) made it to Hangover Haven, but I wonder how his father lost his bar as well as being thrown on the street with nothing but alcohol for comfort. Kind of sad what alcohol can do to you. Oh, believe me, there may be pauses that make you think it ended early, but these RPs last for quite some time. I've grown tired of sleeping (Haha?) and I just want to get motivated to finish my posts. I'm so behind... Oh yeah, Aika Online is a time consumer. It may be part of the reason I had to give it a break and ended up sleeping like crazy. It's also fun, especially if you like PKing, a little girl following you everywhere while cheering you on and calling you "master"...oh, and the NPCs are more interactive than most games. They have voices and you can talk to some of them (though the "talk" button stops working after awhile for some NPCs). And by talk, I mean insight about the NPC. EDIT: It's not a bug. Aika has 2D movement.
I could actually see my character doing that, with a snide comment after-words of course. ^^ Thankfully, it's nice to join an RP and not worry about it ending in a week or so. Since it's been summer, I've just been sleeping, and sleeping, and sleeping. xD By the way, I heard you mention Aika online. I researched it due to you mentioning it and I'm intrigued. I actually will download it tomorrow, or today as seeing the time I'm posting this ^^. Is it any good? From what I've seen it looks interesting and a good time consumer as seeing I have like no games to play.
It will also be interesting for opponents to see a half-giant use magic more than brute strength. As soon as enemies see the staff, they'd burst out laughing, only be whipped aside like the fools they are! Oh yeah, everyone is dedicated. That's what the group is for as well. Additional comments, possible planning and hints, and of course, a reduction of OOC tendencies by posting random thoughts in the group section rather than in the RP. Actually, I'm afraid everyone will move on without me. I think I need to take more vitamins to be more active. xD
Oh why thank you. It took me long enough to make it, so I'm glad the effort I put in was well worth it. To answer your question I think it might be a little bit of both, he has the potential to prosper and took full advantage of his situation to learn. Neither can I, with the dedicated group of rpers Anglo claims you all are (I know from past experience that you are) this RP looks to be long, and a treat to RP in. Both of which are definitely good to know.

Is that because he is half-giant and has the potential to prosper or because his chances of education was greater...or both?! Either way, I can't wait to see what happens in the RP!

Eh, since you gave up, I get to talk about SPOILERS! 1. Luke basically stole Asch's (the other red-head) life, home, and family. 2. Luke has no memories since he is a replica. 3. Luke killed thousands in one blow, yet he STILL feared killing. xD 4. I learned a new word (dreck) from Asch (nickname for Luke). 5. Master Van is the biggest hypocrite (he wants to fill the world with replicas, but turns his back on Luke) there is and the main enemy. 6. Jade. is. awesome. One of the best characters and the creator of fomicry (replica process). 7. Nearly everyone who died (main characters) escaped death once, except for Asch (then again, he might have merged with Luke when he "died" at the end). 8. Ion has several replicas, and the one travelling with everyone was a replica himself (died and replaced so easily).
I guess if you don't like that style of gaming, you don't like it. I personally admired how different the main character was (a spoiled coward oblivious to the world) and how he DRASTICALLY changes towards the end. How far are you? I seriously went from finding Luke unique and likeable, to completely hating him, to loving and feeling for him. xD Hm? JRPG...well, it WAS made in Japan, and it IS a RPG, so...it's not going to be like GTA or Halo. xD FF went done recently. I liked FF7 and FF10 the best, while FF12 became...complicated, and I heard FF13 is pure graphics over story. :o What is DA? ME?
Well, I watched a little more of it, it's ok. That's all I'm really going to say, I like it too a degree, but, I guess I'm just not that into JRPG's and such (because that's basically what it is). Same reason I never really liked FF, I mean it just didn't appeal to me as say RPG's like DA:O, or ME. I just didn't get into it, but I won't have much time for doing anything let alone watching anime (as seeing that school's starting), so I guess it doesn't really matter that much anyway. But still, thanks for the recomendation, it's always good to test other anime's out.
Well...I like it so much because it is like Final Fantasy. It's based off of a RPG. As in, it's not suppose to be realistic. So, there will be killing, but no blood. Think Final Fantasy 7. xD I GUESS it can SEEM rated PG -- but it focuses on the storyline and characters. I'm a Westerner too, you know. I just like intense stories. I still like DoA and Mortal Combat and I watch my cousin play Halo and GTA and such. Then there's Higurashi... Yeah, all the other manga sites suck.
