Oh yeah that's definitely a 327. The "spout" on the front of the engine is the giveaway.
Wow man. That's gorgeous. Looks like it's coming along real nice. Most of the 1st gen Caminos that I've come across are too far gone to do anything with. Nice find.

I have it back from the shop, and it's drivable! However, it isn't registered or been inspected yet. I need the title from the friend who gave it to me, and need to fix one of the turn signals.
