  1. haha yeah it looks like we share some interests.

Yeah I don't usually go on live anymore, I've been wanting to rent AvP the game because the campaign looked good and i liked the idea of choosing between the 3 races, I might actually rent it this weekend, hey you should hit me up with your gamertag and we will play sometime.

Concerning the comics though, I never read them....and a predator 3 film!??! Holy shit I never heard about that thanks for the info, a new film to get psyched about, hell yes I know I'm gonna be watching that!! xD
  2. Yes, finally, someone who shares a love for classics like Terminator and Alien. I've actually recently read something about the upcoming Terminator flick. I must say that I'm psyched.

AvP was bad, or at least the movies were. The comics were their own thing back then, and it was a neat idea. I must say that I'm not thrilled about the mixed series, though it has spawned my latest gaming craze on 360 ((I can't seem to stop playing Aliens vs Predator on Live)).

Speaking of Predators, are you going to see the latest film Predators when it comes out? I know I am. ((I just hope it isn't a bad continuation of the series, though I have high hopes for it.))
  3. Ha omg I just love the terminator series, in fact I finished watching them all about two weeks ago and just absolutely loved it. Animes are great but nothing can best an american blockbuster franchise like terminator xD

Alien is also a really good series but I think it was a shame that they mixed aliens and predators together in their own plot, kinda just damaged both iconic horror characters :/
  4. Yes, it was fitting, though I enjoyed the ending in the manga better. ((I don't want to spoil it for you, ))

Monster is a good way to pass the time, though I think as of right now I'm going to find my set of "Alien" movies and watch them instead. You can never have enough of good, old, classic American sci-fi movies. At least, for me that is. I look forward to reading your first post btw, I can't wait for your rp to start. I'm eager to rp as my character "Crash".
  5. Haha yeah Monster is a really emotional anime, concerning FMA though, in the normal one (if you count the movies) Al turns human but Ed has to go to Munich in the other alternate world and al joins him soon after....pretty good ending I thought.

The only reason I stopped watching monster was because the amount of episodes were so daunting xD I believe I might start watching it again when I post my first post so I can wait for people to post their posts.
  6. Nope, you got confused, they don't die, actually something good happens, to Alphonse at least.

Yes, I was in a fit of rage at that point in Monster too. Come to think of it, I was very emotional in Monster, from anger, to sadness, and all the emotions in between. I probably felt all of them throughout Monster. My most vivid memory was actually when Tenma and his betrothed were talking over dinner, and she said something along the lines of "some lives are more important than others." After he mentioned the Turkish man who died because he helped the singer. I was horrified, I stared at the screen blankly out of pure horror and anger. Well, it fits though, the title is after all, Monster.
  7. What? in the manga roy mustang and alphonse die?!? D: oh noes lol. xD ha you just made me in the mood for monster now, seeing as it should get horrifying within it.

When Tenmas betrothed threw the ring at him I was screaming Bi*** at the screen xD and then when he gets promoted she comes crawling back and I was like "Don't listen to that Bi***!! She's only with you for the social status!!" and when he walked out on her I was like Scoooooreeee!!! Tenma doesn't come crawling back to bi**** xD
  8. @Anglo, Monster is very haunting.... for the reason you mentioned adn the fact that it is actually quite horrifying at times. ((I remember watching the first two episodes and practically screaming at the screen when Tenma lost the chance to earn his position as Head Surgeon))

What?? Hikaru No Go? It's interesting, though not my first pick as something to watch. ((Though the opening themes, and the music was very captivating, as with .hack//SIGN)) FMA is a great show, sad though, how both the manga and the anime end differently.... *uncontrollable tears* Roy Mustang was one of my favorite characters. As with Alphonse.

P.S. I couldn't fit all of this on one message, so I made it into TWO!
  9. Aha, lokuri was once a fellow Naruto addict too! lol. Truth is, I did the exact same, when they started the series during weekdays, ((and not just those hard to stay up and watch Saturday nights)) I was always home, eagerly awaiting the next episode. Oh, and lokuri, you are absolutely right, Naruto is more aimed at boys. Probably the reason it's in a Shounen magazine. I've actually given up on watching the anime as well, though I did stay with it until about halfway through the latest Shippudden series ((haha, longer than both of you! lol)). I am actually caught up with the manga, I read the chapters religiously every time one comes out on OneManga.

@lokuri, Sailor Moon was interesting when I was very young, though not the greatest anime for a boy to enjoy, so I didn't stick with it. Dragonball ((the first series)) was good. Rurouni Kenshin is great as well, InuYasha is another great one too. .hack, especially //SIGN, was a great show. I couldn't stop watching it!
  10. Yess, I started watching monster but the 70+ Episodes seemed daunting to me, and I didn't get far in, only like 6 episodes or so, I suppose its one of those anime that are rich in story and is more enjoyable the further you get into it, I believe I will be getting into it again.

Yeah in a sense death note was a great crime drama anime, I never watched...the other anime that the writer written >_< that you just told me in your last message...damn xD Lokuri is watching/reading it at the moment aswell and since you two are hey, I might as well give it a shot.

I suppose that full out action anime do seem to get predictable and boring, the only real action/shounen anime I really enjoyed was full metal alchemist, I think the characters were really enjoyable to watch. The story line again, coming with most action anime wasn't the best, but it was better than most of the action oriented anime out there and it was really enjoyable xD look at me rambling on like an anime freak xD
