I enjoyed Death Note as well, the storyline was, like you said, not the most smart, or well written, but it was better than the handful of constant fighting anime's/mangas out there. Plus, the artist that did the art for Hikaru No Go ((At least in the manga)) was responsible for Death Note. It seemed the perfect "realistic" style that was drawn fits it perfectly. In a sense, Death Note is a great crime drama! Claymore is by far not one of the best animes out there, nor is it the worst. It's fairly predictable when you get farther into it, and the plot twists seem dull and not at all thought out, which of course makes it hard to watch and enjoy. But, it is still an action orientated manga/anime. You have to judge it for what it is though, you can't compare it to the likes of Monster, or Death Note.
Ha yeah thats why I've been continually flicking through anime recently. I was addicted to naruto aswell xD. And since after completing death note I just couldn't seem to find an anime that could keep my interest sustained, I just loved the Cat & Mouse style that the anime adapted and it kept me ammused. It wasn't particularly the most smart-written anime but it was definatly enjoyable to say the least. Now that I've seen Claymore its really different compared to the other animes I've watched, and I just think its gonna keep me ammused, that and Blood+ and perhaps a bit of Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom.
Hahaha, Naruto, I remember when I was seriously into that show too. ((I was addicted, yes, pathetic, I know xD)) I've always been into anime since I started watching it ((5 or so years ago)). It's an interesting form of entertainment to say the least. Though at times things get very repetitive. But, eh, it keeps you interested.
Haha, yes you will :P Lol, I only got back into anime recently...recently if you can call watching naruto anime >.>; was my first anime lol, watched over 100 episodes in. >.< Yeah I like the fight scenes in Claymore haha they are really well done in my opinion!
Oh goody! Looks like I'll have something to do while waiting for my rp to start up. Claymore is pretty good, I have a few of the manga volumes though I haven't checked out the anime in quite some time. I just know that the action is very well done, the fight scenes are AMAZING! Haha, I sound like an anime nerd right now.....
I plan on starting Crystal Peaks within the next two hours, I'm just allowing time for Angel1234 and Befram to post their Character sheets, I already have the first post written. And yeah I checked out Claymore, I'm on episode five at the momnet, I think its really awesome, definatlly given me a few ideas I can adapt into Crystal Peaks!
Yeah, btw, when do you plan on starting Crystal Peaks? Oh, and did you check out Claymore?
Yeah if you just hold out for an extra day or so like I did with Crystal Peaks the character sheets will soon flow it, its a good idea that will interest Experienced Posters so all it will take is an extra few hours and we might get another guy or two. fingers crossed!
Yep, we've got three total. You, lokuri, and I. Perhaps more will join? I'm actually quite excited and eager to get my rp off the ground, but I think waiting a little longer is what I'm actually going to do. Don't want to start prematurely and end up having the rp fall through.
Ha looks like more experienced posters are joining now xD
