  1. I forgot to add that the build I submitted also took into account that you have a dvd disk drive already, so I left it out of the build.

If you needed one they only cost around 20 USD.

Also if I were you I would purchase the extra 5 USD thermal compound as it is better than the basic compound on the heatsink that comes with the CPU.
The thermal compound also has enough thermal compound for multiple uses.

If you have trouble putting a PC together I can also give you guides.
  2. No I haven't ordered the parts just yet, will soon tho. I was looking for a reason to sell my ps3, since I beat demons souls, it has been sitting there collecting dust lol.

I'm pretty sure what I'm using has VGA out. If not, we have a fairly recent flat screen monitor from our vista computer. Nobody ever uses it so I'll snag it if my other one doesn't work.

Also I can upgrade the parts later on when I have more money. Its just I'm pretty much clueless when it comes to what parts are compatible with what etc.
  3. Did you order the parts yet?

The build is ok for games of today but in the future that cpu could be a little weak.

I have one that is a little weaker and it can max out just about any game just fine but I am unsure how that will be in the future.

But if you are on a strict budget that build is still very good.

Also make sure that the tv you will be using has a DVI or VGA output if not you may have to buy a separate cable to connect to it.
  4. Hey Thx for the computer build suggestion. I'm going with the 2nd build you posted. Just sold my ps3, and all my PS3 stuff. Its just over 500$, which is just enough for all the parts you suggested and shipping & handling.
