Bacns only attack if you present them with cinnamon Pop-Tarts. Or if you join the red team. But even if you find a very violent Bacn you can still throw a stuffed animal at it and escape while it's busy snuggling.

Just release it back into the wild after you're finished with it. Then it shall scurry back into its den.
