I hope it won't turn out like Higurashi. xD Moving to the island, only to find out there are a series of deaths and you can't escape. >.< So, the second floor is for lounging? Does that mean people will be rooming with both rich and lower class, or will have have their own rooms? Meh, I guess I don't have to worry about that just yet. xD So, it is like a bunch of doctor rooms that check to see how you are? Meh, again, I'll wait for your actual description in your post. xD Is there at least a lowering or rise between the audience and the speaker? I'd doubt they just brought a mic out where everyone can trip over the wire. :o Speaking of wire, there is electricity in the rooms, right? Aria has an electric guitar, so... the amp is packed in her luggage. xD
Normally it would run smoothly, one person goes in at a time, proceeds through the tests and gets checked in and is led to the settlement, but due to the storm it's going to be crowded, and thus a little hectic. Which will come into play later..... ooh, I know, mysterious. But anyways, feel free to describe the building in your post. Yay, looks like Moratorium's part of the rp now!
More or less, I say more strange occurances and brutal deaths than disappearances, but a little of all three will serve as the main conflict in the rp. It'll evolve more as we go along, but I don't want to spoil it for you. Building 2 is very similar, it has two floors like building 1, and is made of wood, giving it that "cabin" type of feel. The check-in consists of mainly a series of tests done by a doctor or nurse (checking for sicknesses, diseases, what not, which will then be sent through a computer (located at a small desk in any area you choose as long as it's on the ground floor). No stage (the characters talking with the mic were just at the front of the crowd, that's the reason for no inclusion of the stage in my post), there are a few seats on the ground floor, usually they are little cushioned chairs you'd see in a diner (with the Island employee colors white, and blue).
Hm...mystery, eh? Does that include disappearances, strange occurances, or -- well, if it is a game...then...hmn... A couple of questions before I post...tomorrow. One, is building 2 (the one yet to be described) similar to building 1? Can the size and looks be different so long as it is made of wood? Are the middle/lower class separated from the upper class? Can we describe what the meeting room looks like? Two, is the check-in in the same room? Like, are there seats and a little stage on one side, followed by a slight stretch to the check-in? You know, when you first get inside some places, there is a check-in on one side and a waiting room on another.
Haha. xD No, he was just unlucky. Well, I have two versions of "survival". One is "surviving" off of nothing, and the other is "surviving" under the power of those who feel superior to others. That is, "surviving" in the typical "Survivor" fashion, or "surviving" in a society trying to create a dictatorship, anarchy, etc. Without anyone ruling over them, anarchy can occur, yet having a strong leader could lead to dictatorship.
Lol, seems like I'm one of the only "safe" guys I know. xD "Survival" is about surviving in a different sense than what you think, actually it's quite the opposite, I was trying to give people a mixed idea of the rp when I wrote the opening post, so as when the rp finally got under way there'd be a surprise to everyone, and that'll change the whole course of the rp. As stated in my opener, it's mainly about mystery, suspense, but most of all, character development, and the slow realization at what is going on, and how it effects each of them. That's an added plus, but seeing as the only middle/upper class characters are you, Jarhead4life (which is a fairly short poster, ) and one of Anglo's two characters. But this part will hopefully go by fast, making way for the "revelation" that is cChapter 2. I guess I'll check it out, but too much violence can sometimes make it hard to truly enjoy, but eh, you don't know until you try.
Yeah, I was over a friend's house as well. We labelled the guy as "unsafe to stand by when fireworks are near". xD I expected was..."survival". Like, they would be on a deserted island or given everything to survive before being abandoned. o-o I don't know what you have in mind, so... I hope the RP continues, but it is quite hard being the only -- aha! So that is why the wealthy are with the middle/lower class! So Aria can at least interact with SOMEONE! Never saw the first season, but I saw the second. Apparently, the first season consists of a series of murders, the world being "reset" after each murder case. The second season explained all this. It's like being stuck in an eternity of deaths. o-o Oh yeah, and the killing is caused by a disease infecting people. Oh, the question was if I liked it! xD Hmm...it certainly is...violent. xD Interesting in its own way. I'm going to try to get through the first season...again. xD
Lol, I'm positive that happened a few times, though we were at a friends house when we were launching them so we didn't worry AS much. Actually, "Survival" is quite different from what you might expect (though I'm not sharing too much information as of yet). From first glance it seems a lot more different than what I have in mind. It's mainly a mystery to tell the least, and you will see, as long as the rp continues. Btw, Anglo mentioned an anime titled Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. I was thinking of checking it out, and seeing that you know about anime I thought I might as well ask if you like it?
It's okay to be busy. Oh, you posted. *will check after this* So lucky!~ I remember when my family used to launch tons of firworks. The closest I got to fireworks in the sky was over my friend's party, and most of them were misfires (one nearly killed us -- well, one of the guys -- and another crashed into the house). How do you work fireworks in an island of survival? I'd like to see. xD
Sorry, but I've actually been surprisingly busy today, combined with the fact that the post is long. But as of now it is up. Haha, 4th is such a fun time, one of my favorite holidays, even though the two parties we went to weren't the greatest, it all makes up for it when you get to watch the great fireworks display at dusk. ((I'm in awe at the sheer beauty each firework has)), plus, firing off some good ol' bottle rockets, Roman Candles, Sparklers, Fountains, bricks, Black Cats and an assortment of others is also enjoyable. Actually the recent Fourth celebration has given me inspiration to the ending of my rp. Hint, hint. xD
