Extra! I'm not a dude! Isn't Final Fantasy typically sad/grim? xD Wait, you were hopping around on sakura trees? xD More depressing than mine. xD Where are you? I was living in a rural village with my grandpa, my only surviving family. But on the night of a grand festival, my grandpa falls down and doesn't awaken. I sink to my knees, hug them to my chest, a cry uncontrollably. At some point, I screamed, alerting the neighbors, who point fingers, shout louder than I had, and blame me for all the death I have seen. But that was when I was a child. Flashforward and I am now a matured woman who, on the same day of that tragic festival, will embark on an adventure. Who are you? I was a simple farmer's child, but now I am a warrior who wishes to fight the demons who have murdered my family. Are you happy/sad? I am happy I can put an end to the deaths around me, but sad of those I couldn't protect. Are you alone? No. There are others like me who attract and see the demons.
IV/IV Don't you hate that? It's a pain trying to edit your messages. Yes, because I really wanted to incorporate Cupio being human once. xD Well, Cupio may have a will of his own and definitely didn't want to "witness" the destruction of the "real" world, but his powers "activated" on its own, responding to the woman's wish. The woman is strongly connected to Cupio, but she also didn't have a clue about his powers up until they arrived in the "astral" world. Also, if you haven't guessed, Cupio's power over wishes corresponds with his emotions. So, the reason why the "real" world was "destroyed" (except for the academy) is because Cupio was basically a nervous wreck over granting his first wish (and seeing the form that replaced his human form). I'm also thinking that the "academy" was created as the last hope for humans, the desperate prayer of those who gathered at a single point and the only piece of land not destroyed. How about Cupio becomes a baby dragon?! :O
III/IV I know! Word limit SUCKS! xD Ah, I replied in the previous post. Yup! That also means that those lost in the "astral" world no longer have "human" forms. And yup, combined with the elements, their "earthly" forms (better to use because there are animal spirits as well) would become that of a summoned creature. Yay! All that's left is to describe the mirror(s). After all, an ordinary mirror(s) would be boring. O.O UNLESS! All mirrors were destroyed except for one grand mirror tucked away in some hidden room! FLYING BUNNY! xD You have to admit that Cupio sounds more cutesy than an epic fit for a gryffin. xD But...paintings coming to life creep me out. xD If it was me, the moment the painting came to life, I'd forget my wish. xD How about something more soothing, like Cupio coming from an instrument -- like a HARP! Or chimes? Or...a shamisen? xD
II/IV Hm, I like Ruki, "Hollow Masician" better than Ruki, the "Callous Siren." xD But seriously, "siren" sounds more like a singer, someone with a high-pitched voice, or someone who simply wants to deceive you. That's not Ruki (the reason she hates her dad is because he wasn't straightforward with her). "Masician," on the other hand, sounds like someone orchestrating their own destiny and may be stringing along others as they go, but the "hollow" part depicts an uncaring nature of those strung along, yet somehow touching them thanks to the "masician" part of the name. Or, you know, your descriptions work too (note: read ahead! xD). I still like "Hollow Musician" over "Callous Siren." If you think of "siren" as the mystical creature, they are generally matured women, not cute little girls. xD And Ruki isn't THAT cruel. She killed Zoth and Lamia because one wanted to be turned and the other can live freely as a vampire without feeling guilty (more revealed in my next post).
I/IV ** SPOILERS?! But GRAVE watched my AMV o.o ** Yeah, Minatsuki in the manga had me look up stuff I did NOT want to know about. xD She wasn't just a liar. She was also more perverted than the anime makes her seem. xD Ooh, you got it right! He admits so in episode 10 (which can be found on animeseason...or some site like that xD). And my gosh, his neck cracking is more annoying than I imagined it to be in the manga. xD (Well, it really triggers a rift in Ganta's feelings towards the Wretched Egg and Shiro, but what I'm curious about is whether there is an Alice in Wonderland reference with all this head chopping...) I knew it! While I was typing "Super Monk," I kept wondering why "Ultra Monk" kept flashing in my head. xD Stupid anime confusing me... I only went to bars with my mom to be introduced to a friend or eat on the side while my mom drinks at a bar/restaurant. xD I don't drink either, and as I'm sure I mentioned before, I was the only one sober on New Year. o.o
IV/IV Ah well, I couldn't squeeze it into three parts anymore. Ah, so Cupio was originally a human. Oh! So Cupio is actually the one who "destroyed" the real world. Now that is an interesting twist. You are searching for Cupio who can restore the world but what you don't know is that Cupio also "destroyed" the real world (even though the greedy woman is the true culprit). Perhaps the woman's greed also caused the deformation in Cupio?
III/IV Second part continues! So! Which name do you think fits Ruki better? Remember that I'm still creating the names so those might not be the final ones. It was more like a little breeze of happiness in Theo, nothing more. Oh my god, the astral world could really be the "world of summons" for Amn O.O. You see, when the summoner summons a creature, they pull out a spirit from there and infuse elements into the spirit, thus morphing it into a creature. That'd be "wack" O.O Works for me ^^ (about the mirror). Perhaps Cupio could be a small version of a gryffin? Or a flying bunny o.o. True, if people thought Cupio is a statue.. Oh! Or a painting which comes to life if you speak to it? There could actually be lore about how the painting would change to depict your wish once you've spoken to it. But yeah, those would just be the assumptions of the common folk ^^.
II/IV What's Theo going to call Ruki? Heh, well I have a few candidates for that. I'm listing appropriate names as I come up with them. At the moment the best candidates are "Hollow Musician" and "Callous Siren". Hollow Musician: The "Hollow" part directly references to Ruki's illness when she was alive and also how she is a vampire now. The "Musician" part references to her weapon, Apocalyptica, the instrument of death and the band the weapon it was named after ^^. Callous Siren: The "Callous" part depicts how cruel she can be and the "Siren" part enhances that since sirens are generally known as evil but beautiful beings. The "Siren" part also depicts the sinister nature of the vampires, they lull their victims to them and suck the life out of them (for example how Ruki "lulled" Zoth). Oh, and the "Siren" part is also a slight referance to her weapon and the band it was named after.
I/IV ** I THINK WE SHOULD ADD A SPOILER ALERT HERE FOR GRAVE. SHUT YOUR EYES FROM THESE SPOILERS OF DEADMAN WONDERLAND, GRAVE! ** Damn you censorship (secretly I'm glad Minatsuki isn't so mad)! Hmm.. I'm actually pretty confident that the hacker guy, the one who backstabs Nagi and the Scar Group, was the one who made the false video of Ganta. I remember that he had something to do with the manipulation of other videos too. Yeah, we won't see Azami's severed head, that's for sure even if they included her (are we.. sad about that?). I'm so confused with the names. In the manga he's Super Monk while in the anime he's Ultra Monk. Naming seems to always be an issue. I've only been two times in a bar with friends. Both times I was the "party pooper" for not drinking anything. As if it's a catastrophe that I don't drink while the others do. That's pretty much the reason I don't have much enthusiasm to go into bars.
III/III Whoa! O.O Oh! The "astral" world could be deemed the "world of summonings" to Amn...people. I always loved the idea of transporting via mirror. xD Oh! What if you stare into the mirror, gaze at your reflection, only to realize your body falls down before you! Perhaps if your "reflection" is "destroyed," you can neither cross back through the mirror and you become "vulnerable." Okay, but I vote for a creature with WINGS! :O Perhaps Cupio could bea piece of art, or even a statue. All I know is that Cupio was originally a human, but he always had his power. One night, a meteor shower occurs and a dying sister/mother/mysterious woman makes a wish that they can spend an eternity together. Cupio's neutral nature is broken by a reaction and they are sent to the "astral" world. Her greed grows and Cupio ends up bringing more people into the "astral" world, their bodies disappearing and the "real" world distorts before crumbling apart.
