PART III/III I know he won't disappoint, thus I joined too ^^. Medicine which made things worse? Were you allergic or something? I can't even imagine how horrible that was. At least the fever isn't so bad anymore.. although the sore throat is getting worse instead. Yup, I've watched D. Gray Man. The weird thing is it hasn't pulled me in yet. I've only watched a few episodes though so it's not that surprising. Details? Well, sadly I've finished Reborn. It ended so suddenly that I got actually mad. There's Naruto (and Shippuuden) in which I've also gotten to the "end". I've watched a few episodes of One Piece.. and man is that crazy. There's also Bleach but I've lost interest in it. Naturally there's also Death Note. Full Metal Alchemist is also something that I finished, although I still don't understand why. It never was interesting for me and yet I kept watching it.. weird. Feel free to recommend me something ^^.
PART II/III - Haha! It's not like I patented this! Indeed, Terra is the last human in Amn. Whether he will join either side is still pretty open. I'll have to see how the RP will progress and then decide the right course of action ^^. However it is just like you said, humans are portraited evil in Amn too. It's due to their strong ambition and lust for more power. Their ambiguous nature is also something that makes the other species resent them (all the races think they are more "perfect" than humans). Humans are considered more like an unfinished project of nature. Oh boy, I really got into writing that. I have to stop before I reveal any crucial pieces of information ^^. What.. ? Riku means "earth"? Geez, Riku is a real finnish name. Never knew it was also "earth". Odd similarities which kinda make sense though.. I think. I remember something that Riku also meant something about being in-between (like darkness and light). I don't remember for sure though.
PART I/III That's actually a good trait to have. The way that you don't explain everything directly. That way readers have to be more "careful" when reading your posts. I admit that I've also fallen for that ^^. I can remember how you correct me at times ^^. Okay, I hereby assign the name Qualus to the ocean located in the north of Amn!! Oh yeah, you mentioned about that "lux". So that means "light".. better remember that ^^. Might come in handy one day. I want to say it's a kingdom too ^^. Thus, it is a kingdom ^^. Actually, most races in Amn act.. umm.. hostile isn't the right word.. perhaps unfriendly? In any case, they don't welcome outsiders with open arms. Especially the merpeople since they are very independent.
PART II/II - But yours is better. (Steals!) Yeah, I got and responded to Grave's PM. I need an escape from school, and I know Grave won't fail at making an amazing RP. Aww. I hate sore throats. I once took allergy medicine to cure my sore throat, and found out it was making it worse...but a fever on top of that seems worse than a headache and nauseousness (what I went through). Ah, have you watched D. Gray Man? Just give me some details on anime you like and I could offer you some (I've seen enough -- and they weren't ALL girly...I think...).
PART I/II Yup, I tend to do things in writing that isn't explained directly. Anyway, I think we both agreed that Qualus will be the name of the ocean. Yeah, partially due to similarities to Raiden, and partially because it makes me think of "ray" and "light" (lux), thus becoming rays of light (usually relates to lightning). Well, I think any rulers of a sea city (I kind of want to say kingdom, haha!) seem ruthless to "outsiders". They may be benevolent to their own people, but as soon as foreigners arrive: DANGER! The last human, eh? Does Terra also happen to side with darkness like Terra in KH:BbS? :o Humans are seen as "evil" (their impurities tend to get them unless there is someone or something to protect). Did you know Riku is means "earth" as well? Kairi and Aqua have to do with "water", and Sora and Ventus have to do with "wind". It is also interesting how Terra, Aqua, and Ventus come before Riku, Kairi, and Sora meet, and that Latin is the beginnings of writing. :o
PART II/II - It's not that bad ^^ Then into other things. Looks like Grave is back, did you get his PM? Are you going to join based on that short "teaser"? I'm still thinking about it. I really need to see the whole thing before I can say for sure. But sci-fi is a nice change so perhaps I'll join. Also, I've been captured by a most terrible thing: fever! Ugh, to be blunt, I feel like sh*t. My throat is sore too. I wish this would go away as soon as possible. Oh well, I think I'll just do the usual thing and watch anime the whole day . That way my brain will be completely tangled up by the end of the day ^^. Maybe I'll start with Naruto.. or actually maybe I won't. They keep killing the best characters in the series.. not cool. Guess I'll just randomly pick something ^^.
PART I/II Ah, so that what it was ^^ (the * in the end). True though, Sirum and Raelum do seem to flow together just as you said. Yet Qualus is such an exotic name. I mean, it starts with a Q which is rare. Raelum makes you think of lightning? Haha, perhaps it's because it's similar to Raiden which means lightning.. if I remember right. That is exactly how I pictured Queen Milra to be. She is one bada** lady who takes orders from no one ^^. Interesting! There's a lot of similarities into what I came up with. Basically, Chasm of Terra will serve as the center of Amn. Only one person lives there, the last human on Amn: Terra. Why is it the Chasm of Terra then? Certain events caused the whole earth to tore apart, thus creating vast and endless canyons there (trapped by walls of earth so to speak ^^). And yeah, Terra from KH:BbS is the first thing to come to mind ^^. It's just a nice name and it serves as a referance to Earth ^^.
2 out of 2 -- I know, it looks lame compared to your method. xD Oh yeah, the name definately depicts a queen who is dignified, but by no means a push-over. She sounds like someone with power and isn't afraid of using it to keep her kingdom "protected" and away from "intruders". Chasm makes me think of a dark place, since if you fall in an opening, you're pretty much trapped and alone (or surrounded by enemies, or meet your demise, or may never see the people you grew up with ever again). Terra immediately makes me think of Terra from Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, but then redirects it to earth, which makes the message this: trapped by walls of earth. xD
1 out of 2 Oh, the * was to indicate the ones I favored more over the others (sorry I didn't explain). xD Hmm... Sirum, Raelum -or- Sirum, Qualus...the first two flow better together (since they rhymes -- that word is so weird... -- with each other), but Qualus makes me think of "quality" and "lux", the latter meaning light in Latin (I was going to use Qualux, but that didn't flow well, and you'd expect anything related to water to "flow", right?). In the end, I put an asterisk (Qualus*) by that name because I think it fit more as an ocean name over Raelum, which oddly makes me think of lightning. xD
Don't worry, you're not the only one ^^. Excellent names though! Hmm.. Cero is an awesome name and yet it doesn't fit somehow when thinking about an underwater city. I think I'll choose Sirum as the city's name. Are those with the * symbol in the end the latin ones? Then about the ocean name.. Hmm, this is a tough one. It will be either Raelum or Qualus, that much I'm sure. Milra, Queen of the Sea! I couldn't possibly have come up with a better name than that. I can already imagine this kind of scene.. "Your Majesty, Queen Milra, someone has entered our sacred domain of Sirum. What do we do?" "Detain the outsiders at once! No one steps into my kingdom without my permission!" Then there's something I would like to know.. what are the first things that come into your mind by.. Chasm of Terra.
