AT LEAST YOU RAN INTO A SHINY. THE ONLY SHINY I CAN RECALL IS MY RED GYARADOS. NO SHINIES IN YELLOW, GOLD, RUBY, LEAF GREEN, PEARL, OR HEART GOLD. actually, some shinies look just like regular pokemans. for all I know, I probably ran away from them in yellow, gold, and ruby. :'( I feel so sorry for you though.
