PART I/II - I decided that I'll go back to these ^^

Never was fond of Nightmare on Elm Street so I can somehow imagine your disappointment. Now you're talking! In movies the only "description" you have is the actor's face and dialogue when in books everything can be in-depth. You don't have to rely on your senses to "notice" when someone is feeling pain, instead it is explained to you in a manner which forces you to realize what the character is going through.
Red is a strong color and those who fear even the sight of blood are going to be terrified by it. But yeah, anime has shown that red is a beautiful color so I don't see it as the scariest anymore.
Good point. A sickly, decomposing face could actually be more scary in color than in black and white.

True, there's hundreds of different anime and probably double the amount of mangas out there. The only sad thing is that it's tedious to search a manga which really hits the spot. KHR is probably the first anime/manga which really got my attention ^^. It's all thanks to you by the way, you were the one who introduced me to it after all. Now I'm experiencing another deja vú though, I've probably already thanked you for KHR ^^. Ah well, such is life.

I noticed it too, the manga proceeds much faster than anime. I remember there being a ton of fillers between the Xanxus fight and the 10 Years After saga. In manga there was only one chapter and that's it.

Addicted? Oh my, you must go to rehab then! There they will.. umm.. I wonder how someone can be cured from being addicted to manga?

I'm not into horror movies either, at least not these days. They are all just jump scares and really grotesque material now. My mom actually told me that the horror in books is something movies can never even hope to attain and that's what piqued my interest ^^. Thrillers? Ah, I've read a few too. It was a long time ago though.. (well, 5 or 6 years ago).
Well said, color does have a sense of comfort in it. Yeah, that's true about the mystical application of horror. I mean what's the scariest color there is? Black by far. Characters surrounded in mystery are always dressed in black (or at least their face is concealed by "darkness").

I might have lied a bit there ^^. The episodes approximately last 45 minutes and.. Well, there are only 7 OVA episodes now so I'm sure time won't be a problem ^^. Then there is also the normal anime(14 episodes in total. I know, it's not much) which last 20 minutes but as I mentioned earlier they can't compete with the OVA.

Ooh, multi-tasking between PW and homework? If you can pull it off someday I'll.. raise my hat in respect ^^. Mm.. Yeah, I remember that the flying stops eventually. It also stops even from the slightest obstacle, it's quite annoying. Every MMO becomes so much more difficult after the mobs become aggressive, less fun too in some cases.
Haha! Yeah, the speed is just terrible with the white wings. It's actually more frustrating than fun to fly with those. That's why I first grinded to lvl 30 and got myself the brown wings before exploring.

Oh.. Poor Allen. I can clearly see the change. By the way, which is superior in your opinion: the manga or the anime of D. Gray Man?

A funny thing just popped into my mind. Have you ever read horror books? I just realized I haven't. It would be nice to experience how horror is shown in a book.
This is just my opinion but if the creator knows what they are doing, then adding color has no real impact. So yeah, black & white can be just as scary ^^.

Haha, yeah.. they become beautiful, sort of. Well, Hellsing is definitely an insane anime that's for sure ^^. As a matter of fact, it's been some time since I last checked for a new episode. It always takes a long time till a new episode is released. But I guess that's understandable since they are almost hour-long episodes and the level of detail is just amazing.

Oh my, you've mentioned a dozen animes & mangas within a single response! So yes, I did see all of them . And yeah, I remember you're the anime/manga freak (not in a bad way) ^^.

Mm.. Indeed, MMORPGs tend to have that same "problem". Best way to avoid homework by far ^^. I did something interesting in PW a while back. I wanted to see the whole world since it's obvious that there are plenty of amazing spots with breathtaking views. I created an elf just because they can fly and thus avoid those high-level monsters. It took a while, but eventually I explored the whole world ^^. Two people joined me at one point, it was nice. The only thing I regret is that I didn't take any screenshots of the sights I saw. It would've been great to share them.

Hmm? It's rare to see a change in the main character. Is Allen's hair different or something?
Ah, those are a constant devil (the "delayed" ones). When I still was actively watching Naruto it was always about waiting for the next episode.

There are plenty of other characters who are just as insane.. and I think that's really the thing that everyone likes about Hellsing. It's just so extreme, it smashes the boundaries that bind us and creates something engrossingly.. beautiful perhaps.
Yeah, and I just realized how crazy I sound. It must be because of the music I'm listening.. it's calm and beautiful. It's hard to describe something as twisted as Hellsing with "butterflies & peace 4ever" - kind of music.. it affects the way I look at Hellsing.

Wow, okay now I just need to stop before I bore you to death!

Haha, I just knew you've had the same.. hmm.. bursts of enthusiasm ^^. Yeah, the manga really swallows you and that's when you forget the flow of time. Eventually you check the time and go all "OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD, I TOTALLY FORGOT X!!" Hate it when that happens >.<
I still have a long way to go with KHR. Heh, isn't the "first time" always the best? ^^. I'd say that fits most animes & mangas.

Hellsing can be frightening, believe me I've been there. It's just so insane and the expressions everyone make are out of this world(they really went out of their way when making them). They even made priests look like sociopathic killers. One fine example is Alucard's so-called rival, Father Anderson. He's a priest who is kind and compassionate among children.. but when he sees a vampire, he just turns into this psychotic killing machine who doesn't give a damn what happens as long as the vampire dies. He just loves to see a vampire squirming before it dies.. Scary.

Wow.. I'm so tired. You know why? Well, I finally got into the good parts in the KHR manga where Tsuna "awakens" so to speak (against Rokudo). I read 21 episodes in a row.. No, wait, I did take a half hour break at some point. Anyway, my eyes were just glued to the screen. The manga is just so amazing.. I even put on the music from the anime to enhance the feeling. Breathtaking.. I have no other words for it.

Interested about Hellsing, are we? Well, it's going to be one heck of a ride ^^. Watch the OVA versions if you're going to!

Unfortunately no, I did not draw the picture, although I wish I did...drawing...that reminds me...back to the map...ugh...haha, nah I'm just kidding, I'll post it up when I get a chance, and probably post some fan art inspired by Ego Draconis as well! But to be quite honest, I haven't worked much on the map, I've been slacking off and been focusing on the narrative more than the aesthetics. I hope to get the map done by the end of chapter two however, when we leave Cyre, which will be a great entry point for a world map actually if you think about it.

To get the picture I randomely typed "Alucard" into deviantart. I have gotten into the anime "Hellsing" recently which revolves around a psychotic vampire (the dude in my dp.)
