V/V – Let's just call this 'IV/IV – 2' the fifth part ^^.

Yeah, 'To Zanarkand' is one of the best FF songs I know. I also like how, if I remember right, the song doesn't stop even if you enter a battle.

Exactly, it's just like those two.. but not really! . Making simple things complicated is the definiton of 'fun' for me apparently.
Yeah, also if your reflection isn't powerful enough, you won't be able to traverse in the Ripple too long. Funny how well an ocean and the Ripple go together ^^.

Indeed, think about that! A universe with an end.. and there, in the deepest part of the Ripple, the Sentinels lay in an eternal slumber. The Sentinels are essentially the beings who created the Abyss, I believe I mentioned something about them a long time ago ^^. And so the plot thickens, as our dear friend Anglo used to say.

I'm glad it's back to 5 replies at least.

IV/V

Minar, Ardorians – Horror is always a nice aspect to have when it comes to a fantasy world ^^.
Ah, yes, a battle that determined the strongest and thus also the leader, but which went horribly wrong due to pride. That sounds good. Yeah, can't have a creepy graveyard without some sort of ghosts!
I'd say Minar is pretty much as fleshed out as it can be at this point ^^.

I understand that the mysterious woman only wanted to change her fate but that's all it really needs. That alone can make a human do things that others can't even imagine. Nevertheless I leave her in your hands ^^.

Papio, Elysians and Scoians – Hmm.. some kind of pattern that must be drawn upon the surface of the World Sphere.. that sounds good. Yeah, I understand it quite well actually ^^. It works for me, it's like a more.. fantasmic way of teleporting!
Oh, you have NO idea how much I'm always suffering with the whole 'Imagination vs Text' thing. It's such a pain when I'm trying to explain something.

II/V – Try to topple my attempts to get a summer job last year: 18. If you keep at it, eventually you'll find it ^^.

Slave is such a degrading word! Ah well. In any case Kinrai has certainly achieved 'The Rebellious' achievement . We'll see just how the situation is going to solve itself once Fluffy and Befram post.

III/V

Wu, Zestians – Yay for crystal geckos! Hmm.. true, perhaps the earthworms could be located north of Alegn, the capital? I remember that it's quite a barren wasteland north of Alegn before you reach the mountainous terrain of Papio. These savage dogs and giant ravens.. could they be those less powerful elemental beasts which are born in Creedo?
Oh gosh, how did I not realize I was practically talking about dwarves there! I don't really want dwarves since they are so.. normal when it comes to fantasy.
Ooh, you've started piecing the RP together? Nice, keep me updated on your progress ^^.

I/V – Yeah, it can become sarcastic very easily, especially here in Finland. We are a very sarcastic people, for good and for bad. I don't think they'd take the announcement seriously like.. ever. They are so boring sometimes.

Two earrings implies that you're gay? Hmm.. around here even having one earring implies that you're gay, at least to my knowledge. Guess that's what they call 'cultural differences'.

Try Berserk manga. It's filled with happy people in a fantasy world.. getting slaughtered by demons constantly. Honestly though, it's a manga which will only make you more sad the more you read (and shocked no doubt). It really explores the worst qualities of human beings and compares them to demons, thus blurring the line of good and evil. It's a good manga though, if you like a hero who is riddled with his own inner demons and who is on a quest to kill his first (best) friend he ever had.

Now now stop the train! Harass my vms?!D: It makes me fear what sort of reply this vm will give me... But whatever may come not answering would just be rude of me so here we go

Thanks for those advices Lokuri^^ That part about "as if" and especially that part about misusing "ed" "ing" and those present, future, past, whatever the world you call those words that are linked to them. I have never really been good at memorising stuff, horrible at it Might explain my poor geographical knowledge and poor sense of direction

Anyhow who cares about geography if I need it I get a map, thanks a bunch for the help Lokuri. I watch out for those mistakes in the future

IV/IV - 2

Funny you'd mention that particular scene with Zanarkand because I was thinking the first idea is very similar to that too. We'll go with the second one then ^^. It's much easier to picture, that's for certain.

Exactly, the Ripple is the space between worlds. The Assassin's Creed white space is a very good example of what the Ripple could be.
Indeed, that kind of distortion effect makes the Ripple look like it's enormous and just keeps expanding the further you try to go. Just like in reality, you need a 'tool' (well, submarine is a tool.. just a big one) in order to get deeper into the Ripple. It opens up quite a lot of possibilities now that I think about it o.o. Just imagine if the Ripple would end at some point, just what on earth could there even be in such a place?

Ah, so that's how you see the mysterious woman. The line between 'romantic' and 'desperate' can be quite thin in some cases, this being one of them I think. So in reality the Moon Goddess is just a regular human being, and a delusional one at that. Her 'godliness' simply comes from people who think highly of her. An intriguing twist I'd say. Nevertheless now I understand her much better.

Papio, Elysians and Scoians – Yeah, the 'outside' is black and it could even have stars here and there just for the sake of.. having stars in there ^^. Yup, white sounds good for the inside. It gives off a nice contrast between the two.
Hmm.. what else? Ah, should there be some special way to enter the World Sphere 'space' since it's a bit like the Ripple? Naturally only the Scoians can do it but how?

Minar, Ardorians – ”The Arcane Graveyard” sounds amazing.. it would have to be a very sacred ground for the Ardorians. Yeah, the fallen Ardorians' horns could turn into vapor which in turn creates a slight (greenish) mist which hovers just above the ground (classic graveyard scenery).
Perhaps there was a civil war in the ages past within the Ardorian race and the battleground for it was the Arcane Graveyard? It was probably known by a different name back then though. In any case due to the civil war thousands of Ardorians died and the combined vapors from their horns created the mist that covers the ground. Sound good?

III/IV

Wu, Zestians – Desolate land, sharp rocks, eerie caves with a misty chill.. Yeah, sounds perfect. It gives off the expression that it's a dangerous land, hence the other races don't go there often. Since the land is desolate, perhaps the caves could have some wildlife in them? Things like crystal geckos (going with the jewel/crystal theme), earthworms (big ones, very dangerous) and such.
IDEA!
These caves could even lead to some sort of underground city where a whole new race lives! They've never set foot on the surface and thus don't have any understanding about the sky or the sun. What do you think?

Speaking of manga, have you been reading KHR? I like how all the characters are now against each other, it's also nice to see the return of old characters. Shame the fights aren't that good though since you miss most of them and those that you do see are just way too short. I'm genuinely excited about seeing all the Arcobaleno in human form though (especially Fong).

II/IV – Ah, so there is a difference. Nevertheless it's better than nothing ^^.

Yeah, that trio will go to the very end. That's pretty much certain at this point. Yup, that's how I depicted it to happen. It's not that surprising considering what Nilak is doing is pretty much the worst thing someone could do (for the elves at least). Things are only heating up more once Issat reaches Minathiel in my next post. Again we all get to witness how I like to 'tease' my characters by giving them practically impossible odds.
