And I really have had ROTTEN LUCK with people in the past, I mean, to even start to give examples would take way more space than your userboard thing would allow, and I don't even wanna get into it anyway--BUT YOU DO have a great point there about just forgetting people who're trash and looking for better. It's just, y'know, sometimes I feel the people who're 'trash' are actually awesome and that I'm the one in the wrong, especially when it's what I thought was a good friend for a long time just turning sour after knowing them for so long or whatever. ohhh, it's really nice to hear you say that :3 I'm really glad you think so, maybe I don't have much to worry about after all, lol... I usually figure I'll be totally owned for one reason or another if I start posting a lot at a forum, especially one this big, but again, it's mostly due to unlucky experiences lmao

I actually live in Georgia which is probably worse than Kansas as far as... rednecky-ness. It's awful. I really love the geography and how everything looks and feels here, but it's too bad the general populace has stone-age views on everything. And yeah, most the people around here WOULD freak out to you about Jesus and all that, and I was raised that way, but I'm nothing like that, trust me. Me and my brother kinda escaped all that, lol...

(and yes, there are assholes in every community, but I've met some real messed up furs, I guess it's another reason I'm a little timid about being open about it? Bad luck, I know)

haha well, y'know, at my age it obviously shouldn't be a problem to just deal with stuff and let it pass but I've always been damn sensitive about what people think of various aspects of myself--call it having really really REALLY REALLY bad luck with assholes during childhood, and even after. Left me feeling like I have to be a certain way to make people happy, even if I know that's not true in my heart.

And I like how you think of homosexuality--I've actually kind of thought about it the exact same way before. Something about it's kinda hotter and more 'special' or 'unique' (hard to think of the exact word that works best there) after looking at girls in that way for so long... what's reeeeeally funny's how long as a kid I hated homosexuality because people around where I live try to bring up every kid to feel that way, lol....

Well, I actually noticed that.. I remember long ago when I very first started lurking here (look at my join date, and note I haven't even used the name 'breakmandx' in like forever) I used to think it was so cool that people like Cingal were around that were openly furry and ... well, y'know, COOLER than most people I've met online that were openly furry. And here now that I'm actually kinda posting here finally I find that there's LOADS of them.. and they all seem totally chill, not crazy crazy dramafags like most furries. Maybe with some coaxing and if people like you make me comfortable enough I can get over it, but it's always a kinda tricky issue--part of me wants to make the guys like you happy, but part of me wants to make the guys that dislike furries by default not ANGRY at me--it's a fine line to try and balance sometimes, so I usually just kinda pretend I'm not a furry at all, even though that's a lie 83

Oh, and here is how to play SS2:

1.) Install the game, go to CAM.cfg (Open with notepad) add the lines at the end:
safe_texture_manager
sfx_no_asynch_all 1

2.) Make a new text document, and name it safe_texture_manager place it in the System Shock folder.

3.) Put Shock2.exe in compatibility mode for Windows 2000

4.) Play
