Get a tutor to teach you *** or use Rosetta stone or some website that was posted here before I forgot.
That's not what i'm asking, i just don't know if thats the path i should take or what. I don't want to just learn the language, i want to learn it's culture and live abroad for a few years so this is perfect. I want a degree and major in it but its not an option at my community college so i don't know what to do.
I think I'm missing the question here? I think you're asking is it worth it to go to community college? Well, it doesn't look like you have any other choice. I think the real question is whether it's worth it to study abroad. No offense but sometimes setting yourself up for success requires less setting yourself up for your dreams.
You want to learn the culture, move there after you get your degree and try to find a job as you should already speak the language.
My question is:
is my only option getting a A.A. at the community college thats not going to help me towards my Major so that i can go to the University(Rutgers) and study that specific Major? My community college doesn't offer the major i want to study but the only option to get into Rutgers is transferring.
Keep in mind that unless you were in AP classes that you need at least 2 years of a continued foreign language in order to transfer out. That means you'll not only be taking Japanese classes, but another foreign language class as well.
haha no i live in the Somerset area(Branchburg to be exact, its near Bridgewater and Raritan).
Maybe if classes are easier at CC i'll try Computer Science and deal with the math. I love computer science but i hate math, i finished Pre-Calc in High School with a high C average. I took 2 years of Computer Science at my School and got a low B average.
My only option is CC and nothing else D=
