Yeah, that guy is right, it works, it worked for me too, you have to put your keyboard on hong kong language, do that at options, at least that's what i did for playing the hong kong one and i can play this one.
Wow the controls really suck like, you have to use the LEFT control and z at pretty much the same time, its getting annoying, id prefer to use space or right control.
i can type in the account and password boxes but i get some error about server or network issues.
I cant even get to the game screen after i skip the patch i just get some error that only shows ??????.

Well there is at least 160 people currently playing so I think first 200 over and done with. No problems for me so far. just hope I can change these controls.

Download that it is the patch with the glob on it only it is fixed. Replace it with the one in your tales runner folder and run patcher. I will tell you if i get on.
