Everyone hyped this game.
I've never even read one single reason as to why it's so good.

I havent played it yet but im hyped because I cant wait for the epic RvR battles =] So yeah, its an awesome pvp game from what I've heard. If you like pvp, then I suggest you get WAR when it comes.
Well since your asking for facts and since the game is not playable Until the beta then No one can really give you "cold" facts on the game, only what has been promised and stated by the developers.
Personally I don't see what all the hype is about:hmm:
Edit:Oh I forgot about closed beta nvm
I have played it only 1 hour on my friends comp, which is not much, i know.
But it was long enough to get a little view on the game.
And that was already enought to turn me down to be honest. The combat speed is what killed it for me, since i like fast paced battles like in DAoC (that doesnt mean 1-2 shotting people)
and something felt wrong with the movement itself...so..gluey and ropy O_o
it has awesome GFX, even without those high res textures and im pretty sure it'll have a huge subscriber base.
so don't flame me for my opinion please, i'm sure there are plenty of people who like those kind of games. but i dont :D
Im in it for the RvR battles to. :P
Here are some gameplay videos
Keep siege
Public quests
Scenarios
/agree mythic is my favorite company of all time they know how to make an mmo and make it right I think DAoC has the least complaints out of any mmo made and if they improve those tiny flaws in this game that would be awesome its like DAoC 2 hmm DAoC 2 now that would be cool :D anyways here what I think the WoW pvp players will come to WAR and the major PVE players will stick with WoW so I think WAR and WOW will have pretty much the same base of players
This game also looks very impressing. The team put alot of efforts into trailers and etc as well.
Hmm yah I guess all of the valid facts you can get from playing it you can easily get from a couple of quick looks on the website such as about the public quests etc. so I guess it makes sense.
If you aren't sure about the game there's no harm in trying it (once there's a trial of some sort) but for now just remain hopeful on it like I am and don't judge the game yet :)
As other people said its made by the same company as DAoC so that says a lot in itself..personally I didn't really like DAoC because there wasn't a constant war going on but I can already see WAR will be different on that tiny detail :P
I wanna trade my cb account :o
There was EA on warhammer trailer..is EA in any way related to this game? 0.o
Alright thanks.
Mythic is a part of ea, it got renamed EA mythic first, but has been named back to just mythic,
Thats it..
(right?)
What I gotta say the thing that REALLY got me into start reading about Warhammer and also made me buy a new computer (Yes I ordered a computer JUST to play WAR.) The main thing I love is that you can start "Scenarios" from Level 1. You click a little icon on the mini map and it will queue you up, and what happens is when you go in you earn exp towards your actual level and a PVP Level known as Renown. Another thing I LOVE is that their aren't any "battlemasters" where you go to queue up, and you can queue from wherever you are standing and after the scenario ends you start right back where you left off. So you can get XP from questing/then go in a scenario and get XP from there. You can also dye your gear, and the whole scavenging thing(Looting player corpses in PvP for a epic/green/blue(?)) item is really awesome. Oh man another thing was that if anyone has seen the WAR cinematic trailer where the orc hops on a catapult and goes straight into a wall, well yea pretty much thats what happens in the actual game except you don't hit the wall :p. Just a few things IMO that I really loved about playing the preview weekend for 2hours. Various classes, and TANKS actually being pretty amazing in PvP is quite something.
One thing I am concerned about is the balance between the classes...how is it so far in CB that you guys can tell?
No one mentioned this, yet, so I'm asking:
What about the story? Do both factions follow the same story line or does it differ from faction to faction/race to race?
Are there cut scenes?
