Want amazing action scenes? Afro Samurai is the bomb. Cowboy bebop (the series or the movie) is pretty good at it too, even if a lil less actionny. Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex has nice action sequences too. There's Hajime No Ippo too, VERY good, even the battles in the manga look awesome. I love "Dead Leaves" too, it's an Ova worth watching, wacky cartoon style, but pleasant and well animated.

YES soul eater for sure. The main character girl's eye drawing is addicting. Even through its not cute or hot, its just hypnotizing and I don't know why I like her eyes soo much. + Her character's voice is so pure like unfaked.

Really not looking for something like Bleach or Naruto where the plot is horribly slow and most episodes are fillers. Would rather have a short-ish (not too short) series that's more... high quality? I really hate animes with gundams or robots, though.

Soul Eater, for now. Every episode is on par with the manga chapters. I find that funny, since every episode is literally about the length of one chapter from the manga (each chapter = about 40 pages).

Also, stay AWAY from Hitman Reborn.

It's the biggest waste of time you'll ever commit to.
