Green Tea Smoking Experiment
So, over the past few weeks I've been hearing about ways of getting a legal high/buzz. One of them was smoke a bag of your typical Green Tea.
Dosage: Smoked 1 full tea bag in a pipe.
Experience:
Sat down in the woods, and filled up my pape. Very harsh smoke. Comes out in a billowy cloud, tastes funny. Takes a while to smoke it all because it's slow burning. It took two pipefulls to finish off the teabag.
After the first bowl I noticed a very calming effect, and a clouding of my mind not unlike a mild marijuana buzz. I finished the second bowl and then stood up to walked back up to my house. I noticed an increased calm and a more clouded mind--again not unlike marijuana, just more calm. I got back and sat down, played the guitar, vision was a little blurry. Listened to some music and I seemed to enjoy it more. The peak passed and I noticed that I was just very relaxed and felt all around good and more creative/imaginative. I think it might have some good effects with meditation if you're into that sort of thing. I am just about back to baseline and it's an hour and thirty minutes later.
Rating: 7/10 - Worth it. I plan on experimenting with different types and homegrown green tea.
The good thing is, the active ingredient, theanine, is a nueroprotective. I think that just about rules brain damage out. So if your stressed or just want to calm down/get a very mild buzz, definatley try this.
