FFXI (No FFXI section so I'll post it here)

Ok so I know this game isn't free, but there is no FFXI section so deal with it.

I'm gonna start playing FFXI again. I haven't played it since July 2006 so its been a while lol. Back then I don't think you could pick your server on char creation so I'll see what server my guy is on.

I might just completely make a new character if enough of you guys play on a different server than me, or get the $25 for a server change. So let me know what server you guys play on.

I don't really wanna start over since I had the dragoon, samurai, etc.

I just want some people to play with.

So how do you have screenies with Buttons Hyarume if he is on a different server?

My ls is the coolest thing.. realy ask others on bahamut that are in.

it is 'hidden' because unlike the other forums you cannot see it on the main page, you have to go through several sub headings to get to it. Because of this most people will not find it so even if you do know where it is it is 'useless' to post in it because NOONE looks at it. I mean my god why is FFXI bundeled along with the likes of 'Rappelz online' that is just pathetic. Obviosuly the mods have something against FFXI.

Sylph doesn't seem too bad, but the "OnRPG community" that supposedly exists on there is pretty much nonexistent; even Cingal doesn't seem that active.

Now I'm playing with a few old friends on Pandemonium and I'm about to join an HNMLS. (edit: end-game clan-ish sort of thing) /satisfied

Actually, it is one of the top P2P MMORPGs. It's not totally huge compared to WoW, but across its 32 servers, there's usually about 50,000~70,000 people online?

It's not bad, but they should probably merge some of the servers together.
It's certainly not on the verge of shutting down.

Blah, i'm on Bismarck because my real life friend used to play there. I am still trying to ding a job to 75, right now i'm in a really nice japanese linkshell (they are going to help me with G2 tomorrow) but sometimes it's a bit of a drag because most of Bismarck is 75. It's pretty much an empty server in the lowbie parts (except for Valkurm Dunes, which has gotten exceptionally better). With level sync, things are somewhat easier... but since I don't have another linkshell for leveling and such, I hardly ever get parties that aren't random people I know.

I never said it was, I just said that player base wise, it's not number 10, maybe if you were talking WESTERN hemisphere, but definitely not worldwide.

Well, I'm in a party party now with two other people from onrpg.

So, It can't be that bad.

However, I don't have much to dedicate anymore seeing as I started college recently.

I would love to see this list of his top 10 P2P mmos for playerbases without FFXI in it.

There is only 3 or 4 obvious ones in the list and that is WoW, Everquest 2, EVE and maybe LOTRO ?

Screw FFXI! we should all play Tetra Master. I mean its so empty :(
